This year is about to be INSANE! I’ve heard rumors that Madden will have multiple announcer teams as well. I think the guys at EA are deep diving into presentation this year, and If draft classes from college to Madden are back as well, Sheeeeesh!!!! About to be like the PS2 days once again and I can’t wait ��!!

Different play by play teams would be huge step forward for sports video game. If this happens hopefully it will trickle to all video game sports

Yes this is unbelievable, Jesse Palmer and David Pollock in the game has me excited. I like them both as a color commentator they both have good insight. Kevin Connors being in the game is cool too, hes a great studio analyst. Im wondering now if any more announcers are in the game and how many they plan to have. Either way the presentation in this game sounds like it will be amazing.

Its always funny to me that Palmer is the host of The Bachelor/Bachelorette and he is a commentator for college football lol.

Sports games in general need to figure out how they can work with announcers on using generative AI to help with mundane voice lines. The licensing for all that could get hairy but it would save so much time for all the things Chris just mentioned

In order for any generative AI to be affective you need tons and tons of data. Hence why they probably did so many sessions. Also, audio from those sessions are much cleaner then if they simply pulled audio from previous real life games and tried to clean it up. I can see them using AI for commentary as a why to keep the audio fresh during the season. They could generate lines about things that happen in real life quickly and get it in game faster and cheaper then having Chris come in and do it.
