When Will The Official Reveal Happen?

It would be nice if they came out with NFL 2k 21 on the PC,NFL 2k5 was my favorite football game it played much better than Madden and had all the throw back uniforms for all the teams I can't remember if they had historic stadiums in the game

IMO, the window of a reveal opens between the draft and opening of E3. Madden, outside of rare occasions(Madden 20), doesn't really reveal their game until Early June around start of E3, then goes full reveal at EA Play. 2k usually doesn't have its own E3 event, they usually have other publishers show their games for them.

We know NFL wanted them to release the game prior to the NFL season. I say earliest being draft because usually publishers reveal new franchises in larger windows than a normal new iteration of a game. But based on scale of game, they might not need that much time to reveal their new game. But, I would imagine they would want to get out of Madden's reveal window even if they aren't "competing".

At this point, E3 just makes the most sense. It is important to note though that E3 is probably doing a digital-only event this year which means who knows when it'll actually be announced.

If they just decide to do a trailer drop with a date in it then the draft is a possibility. If the game is a digital-only game, it could also be a surprise release.

So really, who really knows at this point. It would be just as likely to show up at a May Microsoft event as it is to show up at a July multi-studio event.

Wait, so folks are still hyped for Lego NFL 2K?

This seems like setting yourselves up for massive disappointment.

They don't have the rights to an NFL sim, but they did nab the rights to Lego.

At best, it will be on the level of Super Mega Baseball, but that seems like a stretch to assume they pull off.

I don't see how they gonna pull it off especially how battleground didn't sell too well

At 46 years of age, Lego Football does not move the needle at all. Now, my 7 year old son will probably be begging me to buy it and I'm sure I'd play it with him. To think of what 2k could do if the chance, and what they probably will do...is sad.

I think baseball lends itself to a style like Super Mega Baseball better than football does, but SMB is arguably the best baseball game on the market right now so if 2K makes a similar football game, I will definitely give it a chance.
