When Will The Official Reveal Happen?

Yeah, I definitely wish they would've made the "return" announcement closer to when they had concrete information to proved or an actual game to show.

Being left in the dark for going on two years has been frustrating. Whatever they serve up I hope it's at least fun, entertaining and has lots of replayability.

I was really enjoying 2k5. I’d enjoyed the series a lot since coming to PS2. When it was announced there wouldn’t be a 2k game for a while, I thought “I can wait 5 years. No biggie.” There had never been anything like that before. There were always multiple games. Here it’s 2022 & I’m still waiting.

If 2k only being quiet to hide info from Madden
That wouldn't make sense because both games are two different universe unless EA got a NFL Street up their sleeve

Madden still sees 2K as a competitor even though the games might be wildly different.

The year APF2K8 came out, both games had abilities or player weapons. Did Madden have that idea all along or did they hear some rumblings about 2K’s new game and decided to counter and put it into their game as well. Who knows, but it does tell me both companies pay attention to what the other is doing regardless if the game is the same or not.

That was my first thought when I saw Madden 08 had abilities and then saw APF modeled their who ratings system around that. Highly doubt that was a coincidence and I hardly doubt the yard was either.

EA has a huge advantage with the exclusive deal. Anything arcade 2k is building can simply be added to madden if it’s any good. Not surprised there hasn’t been any hint of what the games are yet.
