Okay, lets use LeBron James as an example;
He averaged 1.6 spg last season. In order to get his per 40 min stat, you'd have to include his MPG which was 38.8. Then you would do the following:
40 divided by 38.8mpg = 1.03
Then multiply 1.03 x 1.6spg = 1.65 steals/40

So now that you have his steals per 40 minutes, you then would have to convert that number in a rating. 2k uses a 74 point scale (25-99). You'd now have to figure out what 1.65 would be on a 74 point scale. If 0.0 steals/40min = 0 and if 2.5 steals/40min = 74, where does 1.65 fall at...

I don't like that Bol, I appreciate your replies, I am interested, I truest believe the game plays because of the rating, not glitches, I try to play as sim as possible. Neways I'm looking forward to the finished product.

You're right, changing ratings and tendencies can fix the game. But I usually like to wait until a patch comes out to see what was fixed and what wasnt.

Yeh, a patch should just fine tune somethings. But since the lockout is still going hard we can't get the full NBA experience just yet.
