Nope, simmed games are based on real life (15 mins)

For those asking 10 mins with no accelerated clock gives you a realistic number of plays per game, no house rules needed

Re: Madden 23 - the impacts of your quarter length settings

FWIW, I tried my first game on 10 min with no accel clock and Stafford threw the textbook terrible INT (off-balanced, across his body, right to my defender). Ah, well.

Sauce got the pick though (my first with him) and he returned it for six so all is right with the world.

I actually think the gameplay is better with acc clock turned on. I think the first yr they introduced acc clock they may have been some issues vs no acc clock.

I know exactly what I want to run for the next play usually. Plus I don’t have patience lol.

Two full games in, only two interceptions by my defense when playing with accelerated clock off. Still a small sample size, but promising results in the CPU QB play department.

I think that is true as well. For me I think the gameplay is better and more aggressive. Playing 12 minutes 20 seconds but may drop that to 15 seconds.

Re: Madden 23 - the impacts of your quarter length settings

I'm playing as GB and was doing 11 minute quarters with accelerated to 25 seconds.

I DESTROYED my preseason opponents (SF/NO/KC). I scored no less than 50 points every game, and didnt allow more than 17 in any one game, but one was a shut out, so I dont know.

I'm playing on All Pro. Going to All Madden has always been a nightmare for me.

I wonder if turning it down to 10 minute quarters and no accelerated clock will help balance it out. Or I may have to try some sliders or something. I know backups were playing, but I had 100 yards running in the first half against KC. The CPU offense seemd like a high school varsity team.
