Well! waited all day to play and finally get home to discover there's a LG OLED/Dolby Vision issue. The screen looks like Splatoon with all these weird colors.

I guess I'll be trouble shooting this issue for god knows how long.

Just lovely....this issue is all over the EA forums. It also crashes my drivers and I have to reboot my PC.

I literally had to install some third party software to disable Dolby Vision to get it to work.

Visually the game is beautiful.
The swing is a bit off-putting... I prefer real time..
However it played smooth (60FPS settings) for me with very little kickups.

I had everything as high as you can as far as difficulty and it does play a lot more forgiving than 2K so far.
I didn't hit all fairways though as I was off on quite a few swings but always seemed to be not it any real danger with miss hits going way off line.
My worse hole was when I hit lip of fairway bunker and it shot ball left into water.

Still have a few hours left on trial so we'll see.

Would like to report on the performance issues.

32 GB Ram

Game has multiple hitches and FPS dips. Settings don’t seem to help this much.
Presentation videos stutter.

I can play practically any other AAA title 120+ FPS smooth.

RTX 4090 and Ryzen 5950X both Overclocked with 64 gigs of ram...the only dips I saw where in heavy tree areas when the ball is flying toward the green. My average framerate was 117 fps and the lowest dip was 95 fps.

The game looks great of course, but the gameplay feels heavy. When I hit a shot, it feels like your hitting a small medicine ball with a sledge hammer.

I turned off all aids including green grid, zoom to fairway, greens etc. I even disabled the swing arc and everything. I was 4 over through 11 on Pebble Beach and missed a few 6 foot putts.
