Sorry I missed your stream last night Bryan, but was getting the game setup and playing a few innings here and there.

I know it's early, but overall how did you feel the game went with your last HOF settings?

Also just wanted to throw in, I absolutely canNOT stand the menu colors, they seriously needed to add some sort of dark mode....lol

Re: S & B’s MLB 2024 Simulation Sliders

I keep getting caught by the pitch clock.

I forget that I can't stand there a while and make a decision.

That automatic ball puts you in trouble because now you have to come over the plate versus the CPU.

I started a game with Luis Severino and threw a 98 mph to the first batter who hit a opposite field homer run. So the CPU is still dangerous at the plate.

I am not getting a lot of strikeouts with the Mets so mostly ground outs. But I haven't used Senga my best pitcher yet.

Yeah the menu colors and theme are horrendous. I get them maybe wanting to brighten them up but they went from 0 to 150 on that.

I think HOF feels good this year. The CPU is dangerous. My test game the White Sox scored 5 runs on 11 hits against the Yankees and Cole gave up 4 runs.

Yeah, I was kind of dozing off last night and I kept getting the violation. I’m glad they made the umpire have the motion for it. I like the pitch clock cause now you don’t have that long to think of your next pitch or maybe 2nd guess yourself.

Does the cpu violate the pitch clock ever?
So they are competitive even on default sliders?

In the short games I played it didn't violate it so far.

But I am getting ready to play some 9 innings games.

I lost the 3 inning games I played. The CPU so far is just as competitive as last year.

I haven’t seen it yet if there is.

Re: S & B’s MLB 2024 Simulation Sliders

I was watching one of the demo games and looked closely at the details.

They definitely have done something with the graphics.
I swear you would even think they brought it up to current gen but of course we know they didn't.

If the PS4 or XBOX One never existed or something and you saw these graphics you would say they were somewhat decent curent gen graphics but they would need some improvement.

The clarity on the graphics is excellent no more grainy pictures. Very pleased with what I am seeing.

It just goes to show they were not putting in the effort in previous versions of the game.
