Re: NHL 25 wishlist

TLDR: Put HOCKEY in your HOCKEY game... Seems like a given, but somehow with EA, that hasn't happened yet for over 20 years.

"If it's in the game, it's in the GAME!"

Were it so easy...

I think the constant change will be what keeps the womens pro leagues from added to the game. Unlike the WNBA which seems to be way more consistent team and league wise.
I agree, and yes, I put the wrong league in, but you got the idea... Yes, unlike the WNBA, women's hockey is less niche. In the cities that were announced, hopefully they support it, but I don't see growth unless they can get solid numbers in the seats... Just not sustainable and honestly, those women will need to have a second job, they aren't getting $11mil a year like Dahlen.

Re: NHL 25 wishlist

I would settle for CPU teams that know how to manage their roster and no other changes to franchise

Re: NHL 25 wishlist

Does anyone know if the developers know about this board and would be checking in on it?

I hear they do, not sure how frequently, but think they have people that they know that fill them in and tell them "you may need to take a look at this". I have no knowledge of that, but I have seen from prior years, Rammer (former developer) would check in on occasion. Never post but he would address (rarely) on the EA message boards an item that was listed here first... EA has their community developers, and I would say they are the ones that advise the developers of interesting feedback over here... OS is pretty reputable, actually quite reputable in terms of sports gaming pages goes...

Re: NHL 25 wishlist

City shot of the before the game (2 for each city, day and night depending on what time the game is being played at)

Pregame head to head Goalie matchups stats overlay.

Pregame talk about each team, build-up (winning/losing streaks, rivalry, milestone watch, key players with the commentators on screen)

Bring back more immersion with broadcast presentation in mind

Key players from each team pregame stats.

3 stars skate post game with stats

Not sure why the developers think it’s best for the consumer that they eliminate the full broadcast presentation from the game. Let the consumer decide to skip it with a button if they want to jump straight to gameplay. It seems they are catering to the HUT gamers while ignoring the hardcore NHL fans who watch real life games behind. I’m starting to question if the developers even watch games on tv from pregame start to post game end.
