Re: EA Sports College Football 25 Will Not Include Top Awards

Everyone was so worried that the players would want more money, that nobody considered the people with the awards would be the ones that want more money.

Which is ridiculous, by the way.

I would be more concerned about key bowl game brands opting out than awards. If I had to choose, I rather have the Pop Tarts bowl than Bednarik award lol.

If I get a Mayonnaise bath after winning the Duke's Mayo Bowl I'm not going to be happy

Not a huge deal to me, Heisman is the most important. It'd be nice to have them in, but meh.

Honestly, when you start to incorporate “brands” etc, their usage rules/guidelines can start to become hindrances to a game as they dictate what can/can’t be done.
Semi Off-topic, but that's why I'm glad EA Sports doesn't have to deal with the NCAA. There's a lot of things that the NCAA could prevent EA Sports from doing if they were associated with the brand. Now, it's more on EA just not upsetting the schools. So, I wonder how far EA will try to go with things that the NCAA would've said no on. I don't expect Roster Share. That's something in the past I remember seeing schools not wanting in. But, I wonder if we'll see something like Dynamic Crowds. I want to say that's something that's not in Madden because the NFL didn't want to see. The NFL didn't want to see empty stadiums in Madden and portraying teams in a negative light. But, without the NCAA, I wonder if EA Sports will try to push the boundaries of what they couldn't do under the NCAA. I hope we'll see something like Dynamic Crowds
