As it should be imo. Each side got one stoppage for some bs

The first 3/4 of the game was great, but the last 20 minutes or so is exactly why I don't watch soccer that much.

Agreed, but the ref set the precedent earlier in the match.

Consistently inconsistent.

When Morris and Yedlin are your subs to "win you the game", that's part of the problem. The subs seemed meaningless for what they should've been intended.

I hope the match against England we see CCV and Gio from the beginning.

And please, if any of you have young children, please start training them to be a proper number 9 from when they start walking.

I think thats why Wales got a stoppage for a situation that obviously didn't call for one. It was like a makeup call and after that the ref thought he wasn't going to continue that tit for tat. So his mistake was giving that first stoppage.

There were multiple times Wales could have got carded but thats not why we are only coming away with 1 point. Maybe it is youth but there were just too many tactical mistakes made in the second half. Once Wales started applying pressure our side just collapsed under it. One shot on goal isn't going to cut it.

So our hopes for advancing will probably come down to goal difference now right?

Assuming both Wales and USA draw with England, who advances will be determined by who beats up Iran more. If both lose to England, its the net GD in the England and Iran game?

This. Especially as much as the US dominated the first half. Overall it's a disappointing result but they still have a decent shot to get out the group. England looks really good, I'm interested to see how these young guys fair Friday.

Yeh I think that's right. Also if that's still tied, the next one is Goals scored.

Those aren’t really phantom injuries. Those are guys who are already dead tired heading into this tournament because they’ve played high level footy for nearly 2yrs straight now getting kicked and stepped on for 90+ mins.
