Big blow, but at the same time, they are still very strong up front. It's not the end of the world.

My money is on him playing - it was an arthroscopic procedure done with lasers. He probably walked out of the surgery. I just hope that he doesn't injure himself further because he rushes back.

Sorry Tim but if he somehow doesn't get into the World Cup we're screwed. Forlan has been from mediocre to terrible ever since the Copa América, Stuani has been playing the last games as a midfielder (like Cavani did during the 2010 WC) and Abel Hernandez isn't the solution. We're dependent of how well Cavani and Suarez will play during the next two months because except a few exceptions this is a decent team who barely plays decent football and have a stubborn coach who's extremely defensive and afraid of change, so if he isn't ready we won't last more than the group stages.

I CAN'T BELIEVE WE LEFT DONOVAN OFF THE USA SQUAD! This is purely ridiculous after what Donovan has done for this team. I don't care if he is 32 years old and not as good as he used to be. He's still the heart & soul of this team. He's a threat period. I've lost what respect I had for Klinsmann. Geez!

I would never root against my home team but this makes me care a lot less how we fair now. Donovan is the best USA soccer player ever & to treat him like this is very disrespectful. Others made this team that even younger are not better than Donovan at 32 years old.

Anyone have a favorite for who the player of the WC will be? Not just American, anyone who will make it big on the biggest stage?

That Germany poster is ****ing awesome.

As for player of the WC, could be a bunch of people. Ozil, Robben, Ronaldo, Messi were the first few that came to mind. Perhaps Ribery. I could definitely see a guy like Hazard if Belgium steals the show.

So much talent everywhere, man. I guess it depends on who makes the deep run.
