He should start Barkley ahead of Henderson.

I agree, but we'll see if he actually does.

How delayed are the WatchESPN streams? 30 seconds?

Well Oxlade-Chamberlain got hurt today and is getting a scan, if he's fine then he will start. Barkley should but he probably won't. That kid just has "it" and is full of confidence right now, but I got a feeling Henderson starts.

Other than Milner looking awful at right back, Wilshere looked awful in midfield and Lamps wasn't that impressive either. To be honest, I don't know if Jack makes the bench with that performance.

Hodgson has a much better squad than people are giving him credit for. Hopefully he can get the CB pairing right and figure out who to play at RB and don't get totally exposed down that flank. That team just looks plain fun to watch.

Heck they aren't even that long for me through my Roku 3. I'd say closer to 5 seconds when I've had Sportscenter on tv and the stream box to compare.

Ross Barkley looks like a beast. Only watched him play a few times, but I'm getting more and more impressed each time. His size helps a lot as well.

The Sterling-Valencia exchange was hilarious, especially with the referee holding off on the cards then BAM BAM!. Valencia shouldn't have grabbed Sterling by the neck, but he definitely has a right to be heated 'cause that was a dangerous challenge. Could've ended his World Cup if Sterling connected.

Re: 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil

I'm addressing several points/people here so I won't quote. This may be slightly biased as I did watch this in the pub surrounded by a lot of England fans (please note, I'm a Northern Ireland fan).

Milner at right back wasn't so bad a decision in theory, it's just a shame it came off as bad as it did. The guy is a workhorse and I think Hodgson is trying to find a way to fit him in the team.

I don't think Barkley should be starting, but he should see some game time at the World Cup. He's in too good form not to be played at some point. I have a sneaky feeling Hodgson rates Henderson more than Barkley, as he was pretty critical of him after the match which surprised me quite a bit.

I've got two points for Sterling, one about the play and then the sending off. I'd be pretty interested to see Stirling and Shaw on the left for England in future years. I thought Stirling played fantastic last night until he got in trouble but if I remember right him and Shaw didn't have too much time together.

The sending off was ridiculous. The only reason I can think of it, not including Valencia's reaction, was that Stirling went slightly over the ball but it wasn't intentional. I'm also hugely impressed by his reaction to getting a hand round his throat, twice. He didn't retaliate or try and get in Valencia's face and I think he should be commended for that. He's only 19 but I think he knows he's got a huge chance to cement a place in the England squad for years.

They aren't that delayed, it's just that if you have bad internet then the commercials can have a hard time buffering which makes watching most sports hard without wifi.
