Re: MLB Off-Topic

A lost season and would've driven up ticket sales for a team struggling to sell them. His impact would be more off field than the actual bench OF players impact on field.

The White Sox had an outfielder hitting .205, why didn’t they call MJ up?

Top 5 in attendance and were in the middle of a battle for the top spot in the division (4 games separated 1st and 3rd by time the season stopped).

Actually I just realized the As were technically in a playoff race too(although based on how 93 went, cant expect them to think they'd have had a shot in 94). How is it possible a division was that bad!? Last place in the East AND central would've been 1st in the west lol.

How long would the increase in ticket sales have lasted though? It would have taken very little time to see he was nowhere near an actuel MLB level player and after that I doubt people would have kept buying tickets to see him, MJ or not.

Re: MLB Off-Topic

Red Sox punishment is in.

Loss of this year's 2nd round pick

Replay coordinator suspended for 2 years

Alex Cora suspended for 2020, but only for his involvment with the Astros, nothing to do with 2018.

BULLET POINTS
1. Unlike the Astros, the Red Sox front office, manager, and players were found NOT GUILTY of being involved in electronic sign-stealing.
2. Boston's video replay operator, JT Watkins, has been named the primary culprit and is suspended for 2020, and won't be allowed to resume his position in 2021.
3. The Sox did NOT cheat in the 2018 postseason, or at all in 2019.
4. The Sox lose this year's 2nd-round draft pick, but will not be fined (compared to Houston's 1st and 2nd round picks, and $5 million fine.
5. Cora is suspended for 2020, but only for involvement in Houston. Found to have NOT played a role in any illicit activity with Boston.
6. "The league viewed the Red Sox's conduct as far less severe"

Weak.

Whatever, not like there's gonna be a season anyway.

Are Hinch, Luhnow, and Cora really going to be allowed back next year if there’s no season? I know it’s not Manfred’s fault if there’s no season but these ‘punishments’ get even more embarrassing for him and the league then they already are if that happens in my opinion.
