Management blew that era big time.

You had Delgado, one of most consistent hitters who could get you 30-40HR and over 100RBI a year.

Halladay in his peak, winning a Cy Young as well.

Up and coming stars like Vernon Wells and Aaron Hill.

Definitely could've been a 90 win team.

They had Price, Estrada, Stroman.

They just fell apart in the Royals series, and got screwed in game 6(the fact that the media actually interviewed that kid AND acted like he was right still makes me mad). The issue with that team is that they only had 1 way to win. Take that away and they failed.

They had chances at the end of game 6 to tie up the game, but were relying too much on trying to get a homer that they couldnt advance the runner. Small ball would've gotten them at least to extra.

Can’t believe I forgot about Price. I’ve got to remind myself don’t drink and post.

I need to go back and re-watch that LCS; all I really remember about it is Cain scoring from 1st on a single to score what would be the pennant winning run. It was a ball to RF and the throw came to Tulo behind 2B and Cain kept going...catching Tulo flat footed and his throw the plate was weak.

I don't even remember what you are referencing with the "kid being interviewed"...
