I just played my two games and my play now game.

I won't say it's the best thing that has ever happened to planet Earth like some. But it's definitely a good game of basketball.

It's easy to pick up, fun, movement is 500% better than last year. Plays great, similar to last year but even more improved.

Graphics: Look GREAT in replays or close up. But doesn't quite match up to the competition in average gameplay.

Gameplay: I feel the game is 80% there. Will probably need a lot more signature stuff. And more varied movement based on types of players. Post game is improved but still needs improving. But it feels great. It looks great. Players will not/will barely move unless you call a play but I assume there's a setting to change that down the line.

Commentary is decent and nice to have fresh voices.

Imo it's going to be what we expected, Even more so vastly improved with gameplay. Some will find it thrilling to have competition in this regard compared to other games. The One will be terrific and honestly this trumps the my career experience. You start off 70 rated and move up pretty quickly. You can enjoy the game right away with $0 in micro transactions. Street modes will be a blast. Franchise mode will probably lack depth, and certain aspects of gameplay (mainly the ones that differentiate each individual player) may lack depth.

Add more depth next year, and a deep deep franchise mode, and Nba Live will catch fire and steal a ton of players and be back in it.

I heard this for the last couple of days. Bro, nobody is forcing anyone to do anything. Its a demo. For access to the mode you want to play they would like you to play/try the other modes just in case someone who would not play it, might try it and like it.

Don't act like your are entitled to anything. They could not even have put out a demo. It takes all of 20 min to play the 2 games and move on. You are all frustrated and don't like the game anyway.

As for impressions. I think the game has improved in everyway. Control, movement, visuals. I started tweaking sliders immediately, and low and behold, I actually find a way to enjoy it. If this still all comes down to how it stacks up against the other game. Well....it will be available the same day.

Player movement is a little better but the stiffness is still there for the most part.

I thought the new commentary team would be amazing, but they sounded mostly like the old one.

I thought the atmosphere was nice, the crowd sounded great to me. I liked the new feature after freethrows which is basically like an emote.

Dynamic commentary as so far been disappointing in both NBA and WNBA play now modes. Both modes still play very similar from last year

The real improvement is in the One, where the gameplay and movement has vastly improved, which will make the mode fun again to play this year

They need to down the 3 point shooting. Other then that its a solid demo.

I only got to play one half of play now mode after completing THE ONE introduction (which I really enjoyed). But even with the limited amount of gameplay I can already tell this game is an improvement over 18. It feels about 90% more fluid in dribbling, driving, shooting, etc. There is still some stiffness and robotic movement, but honestly I've come to realize that is NBA Live. I think the team did their best with trying to open up the game more, and limit majority of the stiffness from 18.

But overall, I will say the Dev team did a great job from 18 to 19. I'm gonna really play a few games tomorrow after work and get a better impression on the game. Definitely looking forward to Sept 7 more now!

Just spent about 2 hours customizing my court and didn’t even realize it! Man this game is fun, I haven’t had this much enjoyment from a game in a long time!
