It can also be accessed from the calendar screen by pressing Start/Options. That's more useful if you're using a very strict importance setting and will likely be simming full games before you come to a situation where it asks for your input. In this case, you can also just use the sim through date or sim season options from the calendar and the sim will stop when it hits an important enough situation to prompt you to jump in (as critical situations did in earlier games).
The Tigers won game one, 5-4. Riley Greene (10) and Javier Baez (12) homered for the Tigers. Kyle Dutcher went hitless, ending his hitting streak at a MLB record 59 games. Casey Mize (6-3) allowed three runs in six innings, earning the win.
Tarik Skubal (12-0) allowed just three hits in seven and a third innings, as the Tigers beat the Rangers 2-0. Skubal walked one, and struck out eleven. Skubal earned his league leading 12th win of the season. Riley Greene (11) and Kyle Dutcher (23) hit a solo home run each.
Josh Jung hit a two run home run in the bottom of the ninth, as the Rangers took game three 6-5. Kerry Carpenter (7) hit a grand slam, and Javier Baez (13) also homered for the Tigers. Alex Lange (0-1) took the loss. It was Lange's first blown save of the season.
The Tigers have an off day on Thursday. They then are back home, hosting the Milwaukee Brewers (28-35) for a three game series. Following another off day on Monday, they will host the Washington Nationals.

Game 1 : Royals 5-6 Blue Jays Game 2 : Royals 1-9 Blue Jays Game 3 : Royals 3-4 Bue Jays
The Blue Jays ended the first month of the season with a sweep of the Kansas City Royals thanks to a 2-run HR by Daulton Varsho in the bottom of the 8th inning in the last game of the series.
Unfortunately for the Blue Jays, they've lost Justin Turner (.277 / .299 / .554) in the first game of the series when he broke his hand while sliding to the 2nd base. He'll be out for 2-3 months. Eduardo Escobar has been called up.

Braves Fall in Four Game Series With Phillies
August 29-September 1, 2024
As bad as things have been for the below .500 Philadelphia Phillies, they have had success against Atlanta this season, having won two of the three series against the Braves now.
The opener featured a tough outing for Spencer Strider, who gave up four runs in the fourth inning before another chased him from the game in the fifth. The Braves would battle back methodically, scoring runs in five different innings and even had a lead heading into the bottom of the eighth, but Chris Martin gave up a run off of a Bryce Harper double before Kyle Schwarber walked it off in the bottom of the ninth off of a changeup from AJ Minter in a 7-6 loss for the Braves. Matt Olson and Marcell Ozuna each hit homers and Olson accounted for three RBIs in the loss.
The second game featured another less than stellar start, as Max Fried also didn't make it through the fifth inning, giving up four runs that included homers from Trea Turner and Alec Bohm. Atlanta would gets homers from Ozuna and Orlando Arcia, but it wasn't enough in a 4-2 loss.
Atlanta got a 4-2 win in the third matchup, as Chris Sale put together an excellent performance, giving up one run in six innings. Dylan Lee would give up a run, but Martin, Minter, and Raisel Iglesias would close it out. Ozzie Albies hit a homer while three hit efforts from David Fletcher and Austin Riley was enough to push for the win.
The last matchup was a blowout win for the Phillies, as they touched up Charlie Morton for five runs in 3.1 IP before scoring three more against the bullpen. David Fletcher went deep, but the offense only mustered up seven hits and three runs in total.
Despite the series loss, the Braves still stand at 96-43 and will now head home for a three-game set against the Colorado Rockies, who gave Atlanta fits by winning two out of three in Colorado a few weeks ago. Atlanta will look to rebound this time.
