Hope not because I grabbed it last night and am absolutely rolling with it

I made some personal changes to adjust it to suit my franchise, and after toying with it for a few hours, I'm loving it.

Not sure how much I'll get into the situational stuff, but I'm absolutely using the rest, and will be documenting my franchise for my personal benefit.

Much appreciated @JWDixon120!

Re: JWDixon's All Inclusive Franchise Spreadsheet

I'm just wondering because when I opened it, it was in read only and I have to ask for permission to use it.

You should be able to click FILE at the top left and click “make a copy” then you can edit freely!

What did you add or change? Just looking at different ideas I can do. I made a game log so after every game I enter the boxscore numbers and that fills in the player stats. Also added a formula to show the stats of the last 3, 5, 10, 20, and 30 games played. That way I can see who is hot and cold. When I’m bored at work I look at the numbers.

When I’m wanting to save time I just take a picture of the boxscore and enter the numbers at work.

Hey man, do you mind linking me your sheet? I’d love to add this to the official spreadsheet. Sounds like a fantastic addition.

Having a blast with this. Thanks again man! My apologies for stealing and then butchering your spreadsheet for my own personal benefit, but the base is exactly what I've wanting/needing forever.

Hilariously, I wanted to try out the IFA creator out to see how it works (just for fun). It randomly generated a 20 year old, 6'9'', 195 lb 3rd baseman, with incredible fielding skills, but a hilariously poor bat.

I mean, I wasn't planning to use that function, but I'm absolutely going to now. You're a star my man!

It’s yours to use man. Change whatever you see fit!

Send me over any good ideas you may have too. I’d love to make this a community sheet with a ton of features!

And yeah the IFA generator can sometimes generate some crazy heights and weights. It’s really hard to nail those down with Excel Limitations. But you can always decide if a generated prospect is too unrealistic to add!

I’m decent with excel but I don’t know if there is a function where you can have it where if it’s certain height you can only a limited weight. But if you do have a 5’9 guy the game won’t let you go over like 230 lbs.

If it generates a left handed hitter and his contact and power numbers are higher against LHP I’ll switch them.
