Haha don’t know if I’m talented enough for that. I’m gonna get to working on something tonight though.

Also PLEASE watch the YT Video I have linked that acts as the README for this file. It is time-stamped in the description if you ever need to reference it again.

Here are the features:
  • Team Summary Page
  • Top Prospect Tracker
  • Roster Tracker
  • Team and League Transaction Tracker
  • Draft Pick Tracker
  • NEW REVAMPED Trade Value Calculator
  • NEW International Free Agent Generator
  • NEW Franchise Storyline and Event Generators (Idea from 2k's ATD Roster guru''s)
  • Player Stat Tracker (Counting Stats, OPS, wOBA,BABIP, OPS+, ERA-, Custom Park Factors etc.
  • NEW custom WAR formula and Custom Stat!
  • Player Season Summary's
  • Notable Game Tracker
  • MiLB Season Summary Tracker
  • ASG Selection Tracker
  • Standings
  • NEW Monthly Power Rankings!
  • Playoff Stat Tracker
  • Playoff Result Tracker
  • Season Awards Tracker
  • NEW Realistic MVP/CYA Voting!
  • Hall Of Fame Tracker
  • Team Logos
  • Contract Demand Calculator

Currently, the spreadsheet has a few lines on each sheet filled out to give a rough template of how it should look.

Here is a breakdown of how to use each of the features:

TRANSACTIONS:
  • Track every move made by your team or league
  • Spaces for notes are allowed to jot down why a move was made
  • Team Logos sheet can be used to copy and paste into this sheet under "Former Team"
  • Track each draft pick your team makes including their Scouting Report and MLB Comparison (Use your imagination)

TRADE VALUE CALCULATOR
  • Enter a players Previous 3 years WAR, Games Played, and Contract Info and a Trade Value is spit back out.
  • Use this to compare when making trades between MLB Players
  • Also use the Prospect Value sheet to reference when trades involving Farmhands.
  • This calculation is based on the MLB The Show 20 Trade Discussion Thread

IFA Generator
  • Vanilla MLB The Show has never included International Free Agents even though they are seen everywhere in today's game.
  • Use this tool during the offseason to generate up to 3 IFA's
  • This Tool has the chance to generate superstar players at ages 18-20 although superstar players are very rare to generate.
  • Most players will be in the 60's for Overall and 70's for Potential
  • If you think a player Generated is simply "Too OP" then by all means do not put them into the game.
  • Use the Read Me within this sheet in the workbook to Learn More

STORYLINE/EVENT GENERATORS
  • Unfortunately, MLBTS can have a severe lack of storylines without a great imagination from the User
  • This tool intends on helping that aspect of your Franchise
  • Event Generators should be used as specifically noted for certain times throughout your Franchise
  • Always remember if you do not like a certain event, you do not have to use it
  • Please suggest more events to be added into the sheet!

PLAYER STATS
  • User should follow the read me on this sheet as well
  • User should enter mainly just counting stats as all other stats are automatically calculated

I really hope you guys enjoy. Please let me know if you have any suggestions!

Well, you inspired me haha.

Have spent all afternoon getting this in.

There is now a "Free Agent Prep" and "Free Agent Negotiator" sheet. There is a readme on the Free Agent Prep sheet. It's very easy to use.

As for the negotiator, the same goes. You just enter the same info you do on the contract demand calculator. I made a massive formula which takes into account each players:

Greed (OOTP)

Loyalty (OOTP)

Play for Winner (OOTP)

Hometown Team (Based on Birth City)

The formula then shows you each player's top 3 preferred teams to sign with in Free Agency. Remember that these teams are the PLAYERS preferred teams. The team may not need them.

This should add some more depth to the offseason. If you find youself in the top 3,a you can bid for that player. You can also put bids in for the other teams if you use 30 team control. If you want a player where you are not in their top 3, you can still bid, but will need to go 15% higher than their demand. This can be seen with the 'Base Demand" and "Non-Preferred Demand" calculator.

Again, this should work for every player on the game. However it will not for fictional guys. There just isn’t a good way to do that at the moment.

Oh my gosh, so awesome. Thank you for all your work on this. Can’t wait to use it.

JWDixon's All-Inclusive Franchise Spreadsheet

Made a small update today that revamped the Trade Calculator a good bit. Link in OP is updated.

Hopefully this does a better job of representing real life.

If you want to add this to an existing spreadsheet, just copy the entire Trade Calc sheet and Paste into a new tab of your spreadsheet. Delete the old one.

Make sure to right click and choose “Paste”. That way formulas and what not come over with it.

Once pasted, right click on each column that has “value” in it. For example, column E, and hide it. These auto populate and don’t need to be manipulated by the user.

Ahh. So I did, but switched back to Sheets because it was much more accessible for everyone.

What you can do, is click File and then Download the entire sheet as a XLSX file. Only issue is some formulas are not cross compatible between Sheets and Excel.

Meaning some formulas have a different function name. So some parts of the sheet may not work correctly. Things like Logos, Power Rankings, etc.
