Re: TNK MLB 23 SLIDERS

I appreciate your slider set. I've been using it for the last few seasons. It always plays great. Just waiting for the full minors to drop now so that I can get into franchise.

Re: TNK MLB 23 SLIDERS

I downloaded your sliders and used them. One major issue. Starter stamina is way to high. Rarely, rarely does a SP pitch a complete game or even into the 8th. With your starting stamina it happens 80% of the games. I knocked it down 2 ticts

TNK - BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
Game #21 of Season

Boston Red Sox (12-8) @ Milwaukee Brewers (8-11)
Pitching Matchup – Nick Pivetta vs Freddy Peralta

Alex Verdugo started the game with a bang for Boston as Freddy Peralta hung a slider on just the 2nd pitch of the ball game and Verdugo absolutely crushed it 438 feet into the second deck in RF for a solo HR giving Boston a 1-0 lead. The Brewers answered with a RBI triple from Willy Adames in the bottom of the 1st and we were tied 1-1 after 1 inning. The Red Sox stranded the bases loaded in the top of the 2nd as Peralta escapes a jam and the Brewers were knocking Nick Pivetta in the bottom of the 2nd as Brice Turang, Blake Perkins and Jesse Winker all had RBI doubles as Milwaukee scores 3 runs and opens up a 4-1 lead. Rafael Devers launched a solo HR to RF in the top of the 3rd and Pivetta would wiggle out of a jam in the bottom of the 3rd sending the game to the 4th inning with Milwaukee up 4-2. The Red Sox would score a pair of runs on RBI doubles by Jarren Duran and Yu Chang to tie the game 4-4 but Pivetta issued a 1 out walk to Yelich and he would come in to score on a RBI single by Adames and the Brewers had a 5-4 lead after 4 innings. Peralta and Pivetta would each throw 1-2-3 frames in the 5th to send the game to the 6th inning with Milwaukee leading 5-4. Bryse Wilson took over for Peralta and retired the side in order while Josh Winckowski came on to pitch for Boston and sat the brewers down 1-2-3 to send the game to the 7th inning with the Brewers leading 5-4. The Red Sox were threatening in the top of the 7th as Chang led off with his second double of the night and Verdugo singled to put runners on the corners for Rafael Devers with nobody out. Devers hit a slicing fly ball down the LF line and Yelich would get there to make a nice running catch but Chang would tag and race home tying the game at 5-5. Masataka Yoshida singled with 2 outs to put two men on and Craig Counsel came out of the Brewers dugout to get Wilson and bring on Joel Payamps with Triston Casas coming up in a big spot for Boston. Casas jumped on the first pitch from Payamps as he got a fastball over the plate and drove a rocket into the gap in left-center for a two run double giving the Red Sox a 7-5 lead. The Brewers would put two men on with nobody out against Winckowski on back to back ground balls that found holes for singles by Winker and Adames leading off the bottom of the 7th. Winckowski would get Rowdy Tellez to ground into a 4-6-3 double play for two big outs bringing up William Contreras with Winker on 3rd base and 2 outs. Contreras lined the first pitch he saw down the LF line for a RBI double to cut the Red Sox lead to 7-6. Chris Martin came on to replace Winckowski and got Brian Anderson to pop out to McGuire in front of the plate for the 3rd out to send the game to the 8th inning with Boston leading 7-6. The Red Sox got a single from McGuire to lead off the top of the 8th and Payamps would issue back to back walks to Chang and Verdugo to load the bases for Rafael Devers with 1 out as the Red Sox had a chance to blow the game open. Payamps had two strikes on Devers and tried to put him with a fastball low and away but Devers poked it through the left side for a RBI single as two runs score extending the Sox lead to 9-6. Chris Martin retired the side in the bottom of the 8th striking out Perkins looking to send the game to the 9th inning with Boston up 9-6. Hoby Milner retired the Red Sox in order in the top of the 9th and Kenley Jansen would come in from the pen to pitch the bottom of the 9th looking to close it out for Boston with the Brewers coming up to bat trailing 9-6. Jansen struck out Yelich on a cutter to begin the inning and then fanned Winker on a slider for two quick Ks and the brewers were down to their final out. Jansen finished the game off by getting Adames swinging on a cutter as he strikes out the side in a dominant 9th and the Red Sox win 9-6

TNK - BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
Game #22 of Season

Boston Red Sox (13-8) @ Milwaukee Brewers (8-12)
Pitching Matchup – Garrett Whitlock vs Wade Miley

The Red Sox got off to a fast start in the top of the 1st against Wade Miley as Alex Verdugo and Rob Refsnyder singled to put runners on the corners with nobody out and Justin Turner knocked them both in as he hammered a ball in the gap for a RBI double to give Boston a 2-0 lead. Miley was on the ropes as Masataka Yoshida put on an epic at bat as he fouled off 9 pitches with 2 strikes to stay alive and drew a 15 pitch walk and Christian Arroyo followed with a walk to load the bases with 2 outs for Connor Wong. Miley was up over 40 pitches in the inning as he fell behind in the count and Wong would get a fastball over the plate and drive it into the gap in left-center for a bases clearing double as 3 runs score giving Boston a 5-0 lead. Brewers manager Craig Counsell made his way to the mound and that would be all for Miley as he can't get out of the 1st inning and departs as Adrian Houser came on and recorded the 3rd out as the Red Sox send 9 men to the plate in the top of the 1st and take an early 5-0 lead. Garrett Whitlock was cruising on the mound for Boston until Milwaukee loaded the bases in the bottom of the 3rd but Whitlock would get out of the jam as Willy Adames bounced a ball up the middle and Yu Chang made a nice play ranging to his left at SS to end the inning as the Brewers leave the bases loaded and trail 5-0 after 3 innings. The Red Sox added to their lead in the top of the 4th when Rafael Devers came up with runners on the corners and 2 outs and launched a 3-run HR into the RF stands making it 8-0. Connor Wong added a solo HR off Bryse Wilson in the top of the 5th making it 9-0 and Whitlock continued to cruise on the mound for Boston as the game moved to the 6th inning with the Red Sox leading 9-0. The Red Sox continued to pour it on in the top of the 6th when Devers went down to get a sinker and smoke a line drive that traveled 410 feet to CF for a 2-run HR making it 11-0. The Brewers finally got to Whitlock with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th as Blake Perkins got them on the board with a RBI single and came in to score on a RBI double by Christian Yelich cutting the Red Sox lead to 11-2 after 7 innings. Whitlock recorded the first 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th before Ryan Brasier came in and got Contreras to pop out sending the game to the 9th inning with Boston up big 11-2 and Brasier retired the Brewers in order in the bottom of the 9th as the Red Sox win 11-2 and have taken the first two games of this series

GAME NOTES

Re: TNK MLB 23 SLIDERS

TNK - BOSTON RED SOX FRANCHISE
Game #23 of Season

Boston Red Sox (14-8) @ Milwaukee Brewers (8-13)
Pitching Matchup – Brayan Bello vs Corbin Burnes

Corbin Burnes and Brayan Bello were sharp early as Bello struck out the side in the bottom of the 1st and Burnes had 4 Ks through his first 2 innings and the game went to the 3rd inning tied 0-0. The Red Sox got on the board with some clutch 2 out hitting in the top of the 3rd as Justin Turner RBI single up the middle gave Boston a 1-0 lead. Bello struck out Brice Turang and Christian Yelich to end the bottom of the 3rd giving him 6 Ks and we would head to the 4th inning with Boston leading 1-0. The score remained 1-0 through 5 innings as Bello recorded two more Ks in the bottom of the 5th sending the game to the 6th inning with Boston leading 1-0. The Red Sox manufactured a run in the top of the 6th as Kike Hernanndez brought home Devers with a sac fly to CF making it 2-0. Bello retired the side in the bottom of the 6th sending the game to the 7th inning with Boston leading 2-0. Joel Payamps worked around a lead off double by McGuire in the top of the 7th while Bello struck out Tellez to start the bottom of the 7th before back to back singles by Winker and Anderson put two men on with 1 out as the Brewers were threatening with Victor Caratini coming up. Bello froze Caratini on a changeup for his 11th K of the ball game and finished the inning by getting Wiemer to ground out and we would move to the 8th inning with Boston up 2-0. Hoby Milner pitched a scoreless top of the 8th for Milwaukee and John Schreiber came on to pitch the bottom of the 8th for Boston. Schreiber retired Perkins before Turang singled and stole second base with Yelich at the plate and 1 out. Schreiber made a perfect pitch to strikeout Yelich looking at a back door slider for the 2nd out and then struck out Adames swinging at a slider away to end the 8th and send the game to the 9th inning with Boston leading 2-0. Alex Claudio retired the first two batters in the top of the 9th before Jarren Duran hit a ball in the gap for extra bases and was thinking triple as he rounded second before retreating but would get nailed as the throw was behind him and he was tagged out for the 3rd out and we would head to the bottom of the 9th with the Brewers coming up trailing 2-0. The Red Sox turned to their closer Kenley Jansen for the bottom of the 9th looking to record his 8th save of the season with Tellez, Winker and Anderson due up for Milwaukee. Rowdy Tellez turned on the first pitch he saw from Jansen and launched a cutter deep for a solo HR to RF making it a one run game 2-1. Winker followed with a ground ball in the hol to the left side that Chang made a nice play to get to but his throw was late as Winker reaches with an infield single and the Brewers had the tying run on base with nobody out. Owen Miller came on as a pinch runner for Winker and Anderson would bunt him into scoring position bringing up Victor Caratini with 1 out. Jansen came back with a huge strikeout of Caratini on a cutter for the 2nd out bringing up Joey Wiemer with Miller on second base and the Brewers down to their final out. Jansen had two strikes on Wiemer who fouled off a couple tough sliders away to stay alive before Jansen blew a fastball up in the zone past Wiemer for a big K to end the game as the Brewers strand the tying run in scoring position and the Red Sox hang on to win 2-1 and complete the 3 game sweep

GAME NOTES
* The Red Sox complete the 3 game sweep of the Brewers behind a strong performance on the mound from Brayan Bello and Kenley Jansen would record his 8th save as the Sox hang on to win 2-1

* The Red Sox extend their winning streak to 4 games and improve to 15-8 while the Brewers fall to 8-14 on the season

* Brayan Bello was outstanding for Boston pitching 7 shutout innings as he surrendered just 4 hits while walking 2 and striking out 11 Brewers. Bello earned his first win of the season and will be sent back down to AAA Worcester despite sporting a 0.64 ERA over two starts as the Red Sox need another lefty arm in the pen and do not want to stick with a 6 man rotation

* Corbin Burnes pitched well for Milwaukee as he threw 6 innings allowing 2 runs on 6 hits with 9 Ks as he takes the tough luck loss and falls to 2-2 with a 5.52 ERA

* The Red Sox were led by Justin Turner who continues swinging a hot bat of late as he went 3 for 4 with a RBI single for his 10th RBI of the season

* The Brewers got a solo HR from Rowdy Tellez in the 9th off Jansen. The HR was Tellez s1st of the season as he is hitting .250 with 1 HR & 7 RBI. Christian Yelich had a tough day at the plate going 0 for 4 with 4 Ks

* The Red Sox made a roster move after the game as they had been going with a 6 man rotation and need to get another lefty in the bullpen. The Sox sent Bello back down to AAA Worcester despite the fact that he pitched well in his two starts and called up left handed RP Brennan Bernardino to give the Sox another lefty option out of the pen

* The Red Sox are 3-0 through the first 3 games of the road trip and will visit the Baltimore Orioles for 3 games at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The Orioles are 9-11 on the season and sit 5 games back of the 1st place Red Sox who have a half game lead over the 2nd place Yankees in the AL East. Boston will send Chris Sale to the mound in the opener while Baltimore will have Dean Kremer on the mound.

Dean Kremer sat the Red Sox down in order in the top of the 1st while Chris Sale hit Cedric Mullins with his first pitch of the night and Mullins would steal second base to move into scoring position but Sale would record 3 Ks and we were scoreless after 1 inning. The Red Sox opened the scoring with 2 outs in the top of the 2nd when Jarren Duran hammered a ball off the wall in CF just missing a HR as he settles for a RBI double to give Boston a 1-0 lead. The score remained 1-0 through 4 innings as Kremer settled in and Sale was up to 6 Ks as the game moved to the 5th inning. Kremer retired the side in the top of the 5th and the Orioles would threaten for the first time in the bottom of the 5th as two out singles by Ryan McKenna and Cedric Mullins put runners on the corners with 2 outs but Sale would get Gunnar Henderson to ground out to Hernandez at SS to escape the jam and send the game to the 6th inning with Boston leading 1-0. Rafael Devers got a fastball up int he zone from Kremer with 1 out in the top of the 6th and belted a 409 foot HR to RF extending the Red Sox lead to 2-0. Baltimore was threatening again in the bottom of the 6th as singles from Rutschman and Urias put two men on for Austin Hays with 1 out. Hays hit a rocket deep to LF but Masataka Yoshida was able to track it and make the catch for the 2nd out and Ryan O'Hearn grounded to Casas at 1st base for the 3rd out as the Orioles strand a pair and send the game to the 7th inning with Boston leading 2-0. Austin Voth took over on the mound for Baltimore and got into trouble as he walked Casas to lead off the inning and Duran singled to put two men on with nobody out. Christian Arroyo came through when he lined a ball into CF for a 1 out RBI single scoring Casas to make it 3-0 but Voth would get Verdugo to ground into a big inning ending 4-6-3 double play to avoid the big inning and keep the Orioles in the ball game as they trail 3-0. Sale retied the side in order in the bottom of the 7th sending the game to the 8th inning with the Red Sox leading 3-0. Voth pitched a scoreless top of the 8th and Sale returned to the mound having thrown 83 pitches through his first 7 innings of work. Gunnar Henderson hit a blooper into shallow LF for a lead off single to begin the bottom of the 8th. Adley Rutschman popped out to Casas in foul ground and Anthony Santander worked to a full count before going down looking at a fastball as Sale records his 8th K and the he would freeze Ramon Urias for strikeout number 9 on the night sending the game to the 9th inning with Boston up 3-0. Voth pitched a scoreless top of the 9th for Baltimore and the Orioles would come up to bat trailing 3-0 in the bottom of the 9th with Sale returning to the mound at 104 pitches on the night as Alex Cora is giving him a chance to finish off the complete game shutout. Kenley Jansen was ready in the Sox pen and will come in if Sale allows a single base runner. Austin Hays led off with a ground ball between 3B & SS and Kike Hernandez made a very nice play ranging to his right and firing a strong throw on the move to get Hays for the 1st out. Ryan O'Hearn followed with a routine fly ball to Yoshida in LF and the Orioles were down to their final out. Ryan McKenna was up next and he would hit a fly ball down the LF line that was hooking towards the stands in foul ground and Yoshida made a fantastic play to make the catch and crash into the wall for the final out to end the game as Chris Sale throws a complete game shutout and the Red Sox win their 5th in a row 3-0
