Watched the above vid and the game looks great.
So it's time for my annual question about camera angles.
I assume this is on Broadcast, the problem I have with that is that on the far side of the pitch the players are too small and I struggle with getting them to do what I want. Am I missing something (like height & zoom) or do I just need a bigger telly??

p.s. the game looked extremely realistic, the type of game that if I was watching "casually" on a thursday evening i'd probably switch it off

Does anyone have an issue with pressing 'Y' to get the keeper to rush out, that he seems to be stuck in the 6 yard box runnign on the spot as if there is an invisible wall stopping him coming out to close down?

There is basically no defending in this game. From the user and cpu. As long as you sprint, there's basically no tackles. You just breeze past the cpu and they return the favour.

It also generally feels to me like almost the pitch is too large. There are so many spaces all over the pitch. It's too easy pass the ball straight through the centre of the pitch and impossible to close down those spaces when defending.

I play full manual, 30 minutes and my pass percentage despite ramping up error rates and playing with a 1 star team is 90%. And there are about 45 shots per game.

Have to admit to being a little disappointed with the openess to the gameplay thus far.

What was your pass % on Fifa 23? I'm guessing this is just a EA FC 24 issue?

30 mins halves? I mean of course u gonna have 45 shots per game dude. This is a game not real life. No disrespect.

It wasn't on fifa 23. It was half that at most. Same settings. That's because on fifa 23 there were not enormous holes all over the pitch.

45 shots in a 30 minute game equals a shot every 70 seconds in real time.

If you play at 500 miles per hour, you're game is full of shots. But that's not the way I play. That's why I'm able to do 30 minute matches.

In fifa 23 my games were all 1-0, 1-1, 2-1 with only the occasional game getting more than that. With rarely any team having more than 10 shots.
