i agree about letting us edit at least the number on the players, there will probably be a lot of wrong numbers on players jerseys(the ones that opt in).

This makes absolutely zero sense. NIL doesn't just mean name. Their number is part of their image and likeness. So every number of players that opt-in would match real-life? I could see a player changing their number in real life after signing the contract, and then it would be wrong in-game.

They aren't going to put Travis Hunter in the game and say "let's make him #48 just because". They aren't going to go through the effort of putting in Jalen Milroe's name, age, hometown (I assume), height and weight, and then say "Whatever, give him #11".

But it's ridiculous to assume that "a lot of wrong numbers" would happen. How often does it happen in Madden? Basically never.

I know a lot of people think this game is going to be awful and lazy and sloppy and thrown together, because "it's EA", but y'all are starting to reach.

Well looks like with their latest info we will not be able to edit NIl players

That's a bummer

Was hoping we could at least edit the names if nothing else.

So it appears for rosters the only option to edit is once you get inside your dynasty mode but it won't be shareable

It is a little disappointing, but it's understandable. I was hoping to see sharable recruiting classes. I hope that either we can edit the recruits in the class or at least scale the quality of recruits before it starts.

For me, it's not a big deal. I plan on starting at a 1 star school. So, the overalls and information of the top tier guys aren't as important for me.

All I've seen is they have a way to block editing opted-out players.

There was 1 article that I don't feel like tracking down, honestly, that stated it, but that's it. Nothing from EA on it. All EA has officially said is you can't edit in opted out players.

I agree. I expect EA (and the schools) to very careful with NIL. It may suck a bit for us but if this is the price to pay for us to have the game back then I am ok with it. I really only care to edit attributes and equipment. If not though, I am still giddy. The schools, conferences and pageantry is what I am here for.
