So you think players should be able to sue if EA doesn't use their name or likeness if the player opts out? The article already said that if a player opts out, EA will use a generic player with stats based on the past 10 years of performance from that school at that position. Unless you believe that there has only been one player at a particular position in the history of that school, there's no lawsuit here.

EA will block users from creating players not licensed for the game.

This will lead to the end of roster creation in all of their games.
