Don't really understand. They booted UMass out 10 years ago for a reason. On the UMass end, the MAC is a downgrade from the A-10 in basketball, the only other financially relevant sport. And the football program is equally worthless in the MAC as it is as an Independent. If they were of no use to the MAC when using Gillette, why would they be of any use in their current high school stadium?

I can't see the ACC and Big 12 agreeing to this model. That pretty saying that SEC and Big 10 is the superior conferences and deserves more trams and the byes.

They booted UMass because they wouldn't commit to all sports..... now they will. Everyone is trying to make sure they find a place, man.

Doesn't matter. Especially with the courts just pretty much saying the NCAA is powerless with NIL..... The B1G and SEC run college football.

I'm in favor of the these moves. I get the initial concern that College Football is trending closer to the NFL with changing clock rules, helmet communication, 2 minute warnings, and tablets. But, I am in favor of getting these college athletes more prepared for the NFL.

I do like the helmet communication. I do like the idea of not seeing the signs and all the crazy set up of having multiple guys on sidelines making gestures.

Re: College Football Off Topic

I'd rather they remove the December signing date and the transfer window. I rather see player movement moved outside of the season. I'm cool with the Summer and February date.
