Meh. If Wallstedt was so good, Yzerman would have taken him at 15.

Overall, I'm pleased with the Wings' first round.

There's definitely a lot worse things that someone could do, but sadly in sports, if you're at a certain level of skill, teams just ignore it.

If he was some guy projected 5th or 6th round, teams will pass on him.

In this instance, it just knocked his draft slot down slightly, with Habs and apparently other teams interested still (Hawks were scheduled to pick right after......what a storm that would've been if they took him).

For all the "good guy" rep that hockey has, they are definitely far from it.

I think headlines have changed today, but I initially just saw the headlines basically saying "Mailloux told teams not to draft him, Habs took him in 1st round", which to me sounds like they almost brush over the reason why he didnt want to be drafted and why he shouldn't have.

Jackets deal Atkinson for Voracek.

Voracek is the better player between the two, but he costs almost 3m more than Atkinson

A friend of mine had a great suggestion that they should have drafted the girl that he mentally raped instead. Made her a millionaire instead of him. In my opinion this **** can in no way be tolerated and that he himself wrote a statement that HE WASN'T MATURE ENOUGH TO BE DRAFTED does not make him mature enough to be drafted as Montreal now try to make him out to be.
I truly hope the **** hits the fan for Montreal in this case. Sending out nude pictures of another person to his teammates is just not ok!

Re: NHL 2021 Offseason

Rumor season again for the Leafs.

They're still talking to Foligno (I'd prefer keeping him, especially since that 1st seems like a major waste).

No offer made to Andersen. They're interested in Mrazek and Kuemper. I'd prefer Kuemper. A top 10 goalie in the NHL in the 2 seasons prior to this one, that's worth taking the gamble.

Sound like Habs really want DeAngelo.....

They're really trying their best to become the NHLs most hated team aren't they?
