Re: Your brain fart(s) of the day

Just had a worse one. Was helping out the 12U team in my softball organization involving relays. I spoke about my OF experience and how we try and throw through the cut-off, and told the girls: "Take it from me, I play out there like I don't want my balls to be cut off. In fact, I don't expect them to."

I have to catch a break one of these days. Anyone ever see jmood's signature?

No idea why my brain just shuts down to that degree sometimes. But I do know how to tell time, I swear! Also, I'm an old guy because I still wear a watch.
This reminds me of how I often wake up totally confused in the middle of the night and just stare at my clock trying to figure out what the numbers mean.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

The parents laughed. I ended up in like a low catcher's squat, sunken into my glove.

Re: Your brain fart(s) of the day

I was playing couch co-op Rocket League with my friend in doubles matches online. Like ya do, we were verbally communicating to each other obviously as a strategy. After about two matches, he already picked up on some of the things I was saying and decided to ask, "Why are you saying the game's same exact commands?"

Turns out the only kinds of things I would say were:

Spoiler

I didn't even catch it. I literally wouldn't say anything else except these things.

Re: Your brain fart(s) of the day

Here is a brain fart that occurs for me routinely, and is not just a one-day occurrence:

If I am dishing out leftovers with say a fork, I will place that fork on a paper towel on my dining room table while I'm heating up the food in a microwave. Every time that I take out that food after time is up, I naturally proceed to my silverware drawer and take out a new fork and stick it in the food, only to realize upon reaching the dining room table that I already have a used fork sitting right there.

Never fails. You think I'd learn by now.

Solution, own only 1 fork.

Knowing me, I'd probably still go to the drawer, find no forks are there, and try and use a spoon as an alternate before I return to the dining room to reveal my only fork sitting there.
