I will give you my huge feedback

Some games require some personal tweaking, but 90% of the time it's up to you.

I did all the batting and all pitching myself.

used legend hitting(zone) legend pitching(pinpoint)

played as pittsburgh 32W - 43L

my team batting .257 (16th)
330runs (17th)
129 doubles (19th)
10 triples (25th)
91 HR (15th)
76 Steal bases (T-1st) 18CS
113 BB (30th) and 683 S.O (30th)
* I understand that I have few walks and many strikeouts because I am aggressive.

My pitching
era 4.83 (26th)
hits allowed 808 (30th)
HR allowed 74 (2nd)
BB allowed 109 (1st)
S.O 550 (13th)

I feel like CPU is lacking in power. (Played with CPU Contact 5 Power 6)

They don't have enough misses swings and have a lot of singles.

The overall stats for both batting and pitching are good, but the details seem to need some adjustment.

reynolds is hitting .385 with 21 HR and 67 RBI. Also hayes is .303

Other batters
.250 over 3people
.250 under 7people
.179 tellez

starting pitcher

over 4.0 era 2 people
over 5.0 era 1 poople
over 6.0 era 1people
and 2.85era and 8.35 1people

Overall, it's fun and great, but
I think we should be a little more scared of CPU hitters.

- lack of hit variety

Now on my end after about 35-40 games played I have noticed these things:

- too many user homeruns
- cpu striking out too much

I feel like a massive chunk of my runs on offense are coming from homeruns. I’m 2nd in the mlb in HRs with cleveland. I also lead the league in strikeouts (while pitching)

I will post an update later today.

I put user power up 1 to 6 and kept the other hitting slider at 6 an it plays a little better now...just too many homeruns but wayyyy too much weak contact. Their seems to be no balance.

Appreciate the feedback. You using pinpoint pitching makes it much easier on you for sure. Completely different than classic which is more ratings driven.

Re: Rmiok222 MLB 24 Classic/Directional HOF/Legend Split Difficulty Sliders

These are the changes I’m making. I’ll also explain why I’m making the changes.

User contact from 5 to 6. Less user swings and misses, paired with power at 4 gets nice variety.

User power from 5 to 4. I’m simply hitting too many bombs. With players that shouldn’t be hitting a lot of homeruns too, like Steven Kwan. After 30 games I led the mlb in homeruns with the 29th ranked team in terms of power ratings.

Cpu contact from 5 to 6. We had this at 6 before. I wish I left it there. At 5 I’m leading the mlb in strikeouts, a lot of low or mid k per 9 guys are averaging over 1 strikeout per inning.

Cpu power from 6 to 5 this with higher cpu contact gives more hit variety. Both sides are getting too many runs vis the long ball.

Cpu timing from 5 to 4. The gripe when we had cpu contact at 6 previously was there wasn’t enough swings and misses. The will help with that a tad.

That’s everything. I love how this feels. This set also might not be for everybody but I’ve enjoyed it and I know what problem areas I was trying to fix. If you are not using directional and classic you will have a totally different experience than the people using directional and classic. This set is 100% made for directional/classic and if you are using interface other than those two i simply have no idea how it will play.

Those are all solid changes that I can get behind.

Great. Tonight is opening day of my Cubs franchise. I’m gonna go with a version very close to the OP. I’ve decided on the same as OP except for a couple changes: Human consistency to 4, Human hitting =contact and solid hits at 5 and power @ 4, CPU hitting the same except I kept their timing at 5. I also made all the cou pitching 5, including strike frequency. And of course I drop infielder arm strength to 1. This seems like a drastic change but it improves the realism in plays made and not made (I.e double plays). Thanks for the work on making an unbelievable base set man
