Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 24

Which roster base did you guys use to create this? Original out of the box, opening day?
Super small but it irks me that in the another groups rosters it shows Sano and a few others as rookies. Also hoping to have as many of yhe international signings with names in commentary if I can help it.
I know its dumb buy immersion for me is huge?

How's everyone feel about ratings? The only one that I've noticed that I was skeptical about is Buxton who is lucky to break 100 games a season. Tremendous talent but hardly stays on the field. Not a complaint I can always go in an make changes, just curious what everyone else sees?
Thank you for your hard work on these rosters, can't wait to get started. If I could just decide on a damn team lol.....toughest year ever making a choice.

Once I put injuries on all guys not on the 40 man, do they get put right back on when their injury is over? Playing a bit of franchise before this roster I saw guys not get added back when their injury is over

One unique thing about this roster is that you don't need to use manual injuries. All players who were hurt will stay in the minors. If they're in A, they won't play this season. If they're in AAA, the CPU will organically move them back to the majors depening on other injuries and roster moves.

Just thought I'd mention that because I don't think I did before.

But to your question: if you want to do manual injuries, I'd advise putting the players you want to injure in the majors and on the 40 man first.

We used the first roster update, the one that included face-scanned Yamomoto.

If you're worried about Buxton holding up, drop his durability to 70 or lower. Durability mostly affects energy regeneration though, rather than injury risk in my experience.

Can't wait to get my red sox franchise going with these rosters -- hopefully I'll have better injury luck than the actual red sox have had this season so far 😁 Fantastic job Cy and team as always

Oh that’s huge thanks! I’ll probably now just add injuries to the guys out for the year to insure they won’t come back and they should get added back when rosters reset the next season

I didn't realize this at all. So guys down in single A end up staying there no matter what until the following season? Nice.

Yes, sometimes I've seen them move up the minors, but they never get added to the 40 man and into the majors.
