The Flyers came out and completely dominated the Bengals but it's come at a huge cost. Yet another QB goes down to serious injury. After Jake Locker went down for 8 weeks with broken collarbone earlier this season, now rookie QB Austin Kendall tore his Pectoral and will be gone for the rest of the season.

Locker will be back in a couple weeks, in time for the playoffs, but for now last season's starter Tyrod Taylor will be the starter. Salt Lake City has put Kendall on the IR and signed Dan Orlovsky to be the backup until Locker comes back.

The 42-0 win at Cincinnati moves the Flyers to a league best 10-1, the only team with only 1 loss on the season. It also moves them to an incredible 6-0 on the road. Next week will be a trial, in New York against the 9-2 Giants.

A couple Flyers are in-line for league leaders at the moment. Smith is second in the NFL in receiving yards and Rice is third in rushing yards.

This was the second game on the road, as part of a 4 games straight on the road, before back in Salt Lake City for the final two games.

Flyers one win short

The Washington Redskins are Superbowl champs and their defense led the way. All day they frustrated the Flyers offense and turned defense into offense. Ray Rice never got going. Jake Locker never had open players. Even when he did, his receivers dropped open passes again and again. Indeed, Mohamed Masaquoi had 6 drops just by himself. They didn't even get into the redzone until the 4th Quarter.

The Skins defense capitalized mistakes. Superbowl MVP Alveron St. John picked Locker off twice; once returned for a TD and once almost returned for a score. Robert Griffin III went over 200 yards throwing with a touchdown and no interceptions and Alfred Morris went over 150 yards on the ground and scored as well.

The 2016 Aggie season has started. It took a bit, but they did pull away from FCS SE. Both teams turned it over twice. Both times were by Weston Eget who threw an interception and fumbled. He did throw 3 touchdowns though. Naveon Mitchell was the best player out there though, running for 157 yards and had a few catches as well.

The knock on New Mexico State will be their easy schedule, but according to Coach B they intentionally had an easy schedule. Next game is another home game against a FCS school before they have 3 on the road.

The Aggies have dropped to 4-3, after starting 4-0 this season. Although this isn't suprising if you believe the pundits, since all wins they were expected to win and all the losses they were expected to lose.

This one against undefeated #20 Utah was a fun one in front of the Aggie home crowd. Utah got the only scores of the first half, leading 14-0. Part of that is the Aggies were stopped 4th and goal from the 1 yard line, which in these losses it's been incredible how getting 1 yard has been a problem.

But the Aggies wouldn't stay away. Aggies scored and then Utah scored, before the Aggies scored, to only be down 7 points going into the 4th. The 4th was pure craziness. Utah scored and looked like they may pull away, but Thomas scored for the Aggies to pull again back within 7. Utah immediately scored, with Brumfield bringing back the ensuing kick for a TD. Utes finally put the game away on a Whitmore TD run, making the game look less close than it actually won.

In off the field news, things may be looking up for NMSU. That's because of two recruits who have signed to play at NMSU. 3 Star Tom Carpenter tackle from San Marcos, California has signed. What's questionable is QB Brent Manning from Green Valley, Arizona. The pundits have him only a 1 Star recruit, but Coach B has been quoted as him being "a big gem of a player and will be much better than everyone has said he will be". Halfback is a concern with Naveon Mitchell being a senior and it being uncertain if Junior backup Juwaun Price can step up to be a quality starter.
