One thing I've noticed in franchise (and maybe this has been mentioned elsewhere) is make sure you have the correct sliders loaded IMMEDIATELY before the start of the game. When you're on the team select screen.

I've noticed that the sliders will reset to default otherwise.

I'm testing goalie reaction at 75 though.

As far as the roster, we used one of the rosters from mid January I think to start.
Ahhh yes I've heard the sliders revert back. I thought maybe they fixed that by now. That could be it.

Edit: that was indeed the problem. Why haven't they bothered to fix that??

So I've tried a few games, and it's okay so far. Bumping the cross crease goalie reaction up to 75 and goalie save reaction up to 60 definitely helps too. But there's still WAY too many breakaways because the d-men just stand there and watch the forward go right around them.

Try increasing back skating speed to 50

Did so and it did nothing lol. It's the spinning around and chasing that they do instead of back skating. They are super slow at spinning around, and by that time, they're stuck chasing a breakaway.

I'm sorry but this game is simply awful for CPU vs CPU. NHL 23 was great once I found the right sliders.

We will get there

Two setups to try:
1.back skating at 25 and skating speed at 45
2. back skating at 100, acceleration at 50, skating speed at 45

Great work bro!!!
I really like your set and roster but with true broadcast legacy camera, gamespeed at 3 is chaotic as hell lol, especially on some arena like the panthers one.

I just put here the modification I did on your set for this camera because I don't know the one you use and maybe it will help Scottyknowzzz to get a better gameplay

gamespeed 0/6
backskating 50
puck carrier agility 0
puck carrier speed 15
player acceleration 0/0 (AI/user)
player speed 30/30 (AI/user)
player agility 0/0 (AI/user

I noticed that at 0 for agility, they don't turn immediatly at 180° but they draw on the ice a small circle to turn at 180° which seems to be more realistic IMO.

another big change is about passing: it seems that AI tends to pass most of the time at the "max speed" settings and never at the minimum.
But if we reduce minimum pass speed, it seems to work better.
manual passing on (seems it has a role to play)
minimum pass speed 5
max pass speed 60
saucer pass speed 50

Please let me know your feedbacks, have fun !!!
