Anyone else have time to help out? We're about halfway done.

How are the sim numbers coming along? Interested to see if you are able to manage realistic statistics with your roster + sliders combo

I think they look good - the caveat is that it's half done still, but getting sim stats improved was a big priority for me.

While we're on the topic, I'm curious what you and other think about line combinations. The game now relies in large part on abilities to drive line chemistry logic, which is how the coaches set the lines when you start franchise.

How important are "accurate" line combos to you all? For example, in Edmonton last year, McDavid and Draisaitl played on the top line together a lot. This year, Draisaitl is 2nd line center.

In order to get Draisatl to not be on McDavid's line in-game, I had to remove all of his abilities except his x-factor.

Is this something people like, or woud you rather players, Draisatl in this case, have their full set of abilities at the cost of "innacurate" lines?

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: NHL 24 (Powered by NHL Edge)

I would rather have the accurate abilities at the cost of inaccurate lines. Two main reasons:
1. Lines change a lot anyways. Like you’re saying McDavid and Draitsaitl have played together and separately. Similar with Pastrnak and Marchand on the Bruins. It doesn’t seem worth it to mess with abilities when the line combos are not be set in stone.
2. I like to use these rosters for franchise modes like rebuilds and “what if” scenarios. That means making a lot of trades and moving around players. If I trade for Draitsaitl, but he only has his X factor, it will be a little disappointing.
