The crowd was excited for Swerve.

Wardlow vs Joe next week. Given we have a PPV next month, I hope Joe retains and Swerve beats him at the PPV.

And I wonder how they're gonna build the big moment next week. Just go all CM Punk and kick off the show with the moment fans will be going crazy for/chanting all night?

Can't wait for "Cope vs Cage" in 2 weeks. I'm still waiting for the right moment to buy tickets. They haven't released anything on the hard cam side yet, hoping they do closer to the date and for a real nice steal price (last year I got front row for $50!)

Can't wait for everyone to declare Mercedes as the new savior of AEW Women's Division only for her to fall victim to how TK books the Women. Like seriously.. until Tony hires writers, cuts down the men matches to make room for another Women's match or segment, nothing will change.

She'll be alright, but it'll get old fast when she faces Toni, Saraya, Britt, Julia, Athena and others in such a short span just to bill half of them as dream matches on Dynamite.

I hope she either reverts back to her original NXT gimmick or finds some character progression.

Her entrance music is terrible.

With the new overally colorful logo and entrance ramp I'm about to start calling it AEW Dynamite 3.0.

Same old hype debut promo we see from everyone. Now let's see what happens and if it ends up the same old TK booking or not. Just very odd to have Willow vs Rhio be the main event and not save her debut for the end of the show and have her confront Willow to close the show.

Joe can't even main event Dynamite as World Champion.

Am I crazy or has Okada gotten smaller? It's been a while since I watched any of his NJPW stuff - probably 4 or so years - so maybe I'm misremembering how muscular he is?

Yeah, it felt like the same old 'Game Changer' debut and promo we've seen time and time again.

Hopefully Tony and the soap opera writer he hired have some good ideas cooked up for Mercedes. I don't think she should be challenging for the main title off the bat (especially with the ranking system around), yet she needs a big feud/storyline off the jump.
