Has to be a ladder match too.

Summerslam in San Diego revolving around that match would be cool. Either that new football stadium (it's a good sized one too, can go from 35,000 to 55,000) or Padres stadium if it makes sense.

What makes this funny is the kayfabe aspect of this. Taker was there as a fan in street clothes, and simply decided he had enough of the Bloodline BS, teleported into the ring and Chokeslammed the Rock.
That's kind of tacky re: Stone Cold. Whether it's the company or Austin himself that held out. Just show up. Everyone's there that weekend anyway. Bizarre. Money? Cheesy.

But yeah, I didn't know about any of that stuff happening. And that was great. Wrestling is way better when people don't know what's gonna happen. The burning desire for people to feel "in the know" or "an insider" is annoying and ruining things all over.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

Nick Khan says they're not ready to announce WM41 location just yet, but it for sure won't be outdoors on the east coast.

Makes me wonder if they had a city lined up but the whole Philly experience killed those plans.

Although, Minnesota was the only rumored name besides Vegas and Minnesota had an indoor stadium so not sure what other city might have been considered.

Yeah, now I'm curious which city lol. East Rutherford? New England? Baltimore? I'm guessing it was a city around Philly so that's why I guessed those places. Philadelphia likely gets Summerslam only until they get a dome. Though if they would have had Mania a week later, weather was fine.

So to rule out a city in the East Coast when they just need to push it back a week later is odd. Given Minnesota was the only rumored name, wonder if it's going to be a place we did not expect.

It'd have to be a big city.

Boston/New England would be one I could see

Don't think they'd go back to NY/NJ so soon again would they?

Maybe Chicago?

But going forward, WMs should only be in warm cities or just cities with a retractable roof in case it gets cool.

Summerslam can be anywhere, but better to do it somewhere like east coast or just anywhere that's cold in the winter

Rumble I like just having in a retractable roof/domed baseball location

What about at Safeco again?

I personally think they should have it in Atlanta Benz stadium. Been since 27, it's a new stadium too, Cody is from Georgia, etc.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

I'll mention it here too since it also talks about WWE.

Forbes released their valuations of "combat sport" companies.

UFC at the top at 11.3b

WWE next at 6.8b

AEW at 2b

The numbers feel off to me even though I know Forbes is typically a good source for this stuff (for the most part, as we always see teams in sports being sold for way more than their Forbes value even said).

I know lots goes into it, but UFC had a revenue of 1.29B, WWE had revenue of 1.33B, AEW revenue at 250m.

WWE is only 3x more valuable than AEW despite over 5x more revenue? And UFC almost twice as valuable as WWE despite similar revenue.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

More on Wrestlemania 41... SRS says there is talk of moving Wrestlemania to May.

In a way, it makes sense as it opens up more cities as the weather is a bit warmer compared to March/April. At the same time, do they move the Rumble? Do they move Summerslam? MITB? Moving it to May means shuffling the current PLE schedulearound quite a bit.
