Re: WWE Off-Topic

Wanted to put this somewhere people would see it. He did wrestle Bret Hart at the WWF/NJPW/AJPW Supershow in the Tokyo Dome in 1991. So it is loosely WWE related.

I read the text of it, but hearing him say it makes it. I just wish I could find the whole interview.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

WWE went on a Twitter parody account crusade today.

@WWE_Creative is now gone. As is the best parody account on all of Twitter, @CrankyVince.

I am sad. In the spirit of @CrankyVince, a big **** YOU to WWE.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

Seems like the WWE is making it a point to randomly bring up Sting every once in a while. They posted a classic WCW match featuring the man and Bigshow even name dropped him on Smackdown. Just saying.

Re: WWE Off-Topic

I was just thinking this, and it is a serious question.

All things get better with time, correct?

My viewpoint is that, at some point in time, the WWE will distance Chris Benoit the wrestler and Chris Benoit the killer. You can preface the video however you want it. How long, if ever, do you think it will take them to release a DVD celebrating his matches? If never, how long do you think it will take for them to say "Okay. Yes we know the end of how his story went." and start putting his matches he had with others on the respective DVDs?

I am tired of watching WWE DVDs with full length matches, knowing well that Benoit had great matches with some of these performers. I know I could watch on YouTube, but I would rather own it in (at least) DVD quality.

I say it might take another 5-10 years, but down the road I think it will happen. Hope it will at least. Hell, I'd be happy if they released a DVD of his best matches, with a preface stating that there is no way of ever condoning what he has done, recognizing what was in play, and donating 75-80% of the proceeds to research for traumatic brain injuries / CTE or whatever it's called.
