Not sure about the Rumbles tonight. I too am intrigued by the small card. Last year if I recall the pacing on the matches was really good and not much fluff. I like that. Lotta meat on the bones. Let them shine.

I've avoided spoilers especially this time of the year. The most I've even seen is X,Y,Z rumored to be appearing at the rumble, but that was from days ago, where similar rumors also claimed X,Y,Z could appear in AEW or TNA so I'm going in the way a fan should, not knowing what's gonna happen, if someone doesn't show up I'm not disappointed because I'm not expecting it, but excited to see what's gonna happen.


I don't get why people even do so, especially those who then complain after the fact that wwe doesn't do anything shocking.

Those are definitely the people who read movie plots/endings before watching the movie.

We'll see what the definition of full time is. Rousey also was supposedly full time but that quickly shifted.

If Paul actually does compete regularly then that'll be nice. He doesn't need to be competing on tv every week, that's one thing about HHH running NXT that worked well too. Guys weren't competing every single week, sometimes not even appearing every week. Keeps things fresher.

Feels weird having a kickoff show, having fans in the background, they're chanting CM Punk, and it's not a troll job.

It's the first PLE since Punk returned.

Is that Jonny Fairplay (from Survivor and indy wrestler) in the background of the kickoff show? Among many things he did on Survivor, he used to do wrestling catchphrase when he was voting. Ric Flair, Booker T, you name it. Now he's sitting behind Booker T. IIRC, his wife is the same one from tough enough a decade ago who quit at the beginning.

I don't get why the Rumble graphic only has a few people, the kickoff panel is also like "we only know 5 names so far", yet at least a dozen people have been announced.

Speaking of hints, Wade again saying Papa Shango is in the rumble. Funny story I heard on New Days podcast a few years ago, apparently Wade got in trouble by management because of the one rumble where the godfather actually did return in it and they got mad at him that he spoiled the return, and he had to tell them he literally throws out Papa Shangos name randomly every time.
