Also, this actually works better for me, lol. I have all the streaming platforms, and I'll be able to catch Raw weekly now! Still won't for NXT and Smackdown.

Even if it ended up on a service I do have like Disney plus, I still wouldn't be a fan. I hate watching shows on streaming services. The interfaces imo are much worse than tv. Trying to pause/resume/channel flip/skip ahead on a streaming service vs just doing so on tv is so bad.

Not that this matters to them but still.

Loved just watching wwe and during a break flip over to a game and then just go back to wwe once the break was over. Or DVR it and skip all commercials and matches/replays that I don't want to watch.

They already made AEW Collision that way here and I've fully tuned out of anything not Dynamite.

Wait... is EVERYTHING coming to Netflix??

Netflix will also become the home for all WWE shows and specials outside the U.S. as available, inclusive of Raw and WWE’s other weekly shows – SmackDown and NXT – as well as the company’s Premium Live Events.’

‘WWE’s award-winning documentaries, original series and forthcoming projects will also be available on Netflix internationally beginning in 2025.’

— TKO in a new press release.

Oh... yeah... I have not had standard TV in about 12 years. Being on a streaming platform is the norm for me now, so this won't impact me... it'll actually be nice!

I think that is just for outside the US. PLEs will still be on Peacock till their deal runs out in 2026. Then I could see Netflix getting in on that action.

Damn. WWE as a whole was valued at $9.3 billion in the TKO merger.

Now they get $5 billion for Raw and some Netflix shows.

Re: WWE 2024 TV Deals?

In the interim this is annoying. For the same reason as someone else said. I very rarely watch Raw straight. I’m always flipping to a movie or sport or something. However, if they are moving towards putting all WWE in one place I’ll be ok with it. YoutubeTV is like cable was for me now. Just trying to find ways to watch the live sporting stuff in other places so I can cancel it.

Re: WWE 2024 TV Deals?

Absolutely atrocious decision. Watching RAW already feels like a show not an event.

Every streaming platform is clunky garbage and yeah, you can't flip around.

I'll hopefully just watch it by other means. Not giving Netflix a dime.
