Can't speak for everyone but I did read the article. Still doesn't change my opinion that most sports titles EA touches turn to ****.

I have to admit that I would have felt better if 2k had bought Metalhead Software.

EA bought it to make money,,not to make a great game..how to make money these days? Not by selling games, but, by the microtransactions within the games.

If this ends up being a foot in the door towards more arcade/hybrid experiences like SMB offers but with other sports, then I will be all for this move. I also am very skeptical as EA's reputation for buying small studios, milking them for money, then letting them die rather quickly speaks for itself. Hopefully MH can keep the strong baseball game going and EA can leverage MH's knowledge and passion into football, hockey, basketball, etc.
