Group A is def the easiest. Poor Costa Rica. Mexico got a tough group too. Same with Canada.

The US/England match on the day after Thanksgiving will easily become the most-watched soccer game in the US ever. It will beat out the Argentina/Germany final and the US/Japan women’s final which are virtually tied for most-watched now.

Ecuador's World Cup berth could be in jeopardy. Chile accuse them of playing an ineligible player. They claim the player has used a false birth certificate and is in fact Colombian and not from Ecuador.

The Athletic did a detailed breakdown of the complaint. Chile shot themselves in the foot by also challenging Castillo's birthday. If he was in fact born in 1995, then he would have the required time (5-years) of living in Ecuador after turning 18-years old. Chile should've just complained about birthplace and let it be because then Castillo wouldn't have enough time to be eligible to play for Ecuador under FIFA laws.
