Sounds like Eichel could be moved before the playoffs are over.

Edit-Seems like Ducks could be one of the teams interested.

Ducks have 3rd overall pick. Could that be part of the deal?

Sabres could end up with the top dman and top forward of the draft. Or trade down with the 3rd pick, get more assets, and get the top goalie.

I really wanted him as the Wings new coach.
I was a big fan of his as a player and now as a coach.

He used to play with Yzerman too; I though Gallant to Detroit would be a match in heaven. Honestly, I'm surprised that Yzerman has kept rolling with Blashill, IMO it's the one big black on mark on his tenure as GM.

We could have our first big move of the offseason.

Hawks likely dealing Duncan Keith to "Pacific northwest or western canada" (in Friedmans words).

Could we see Keith wind up in Seattle? He has a 5.5m cap hit for 2 more years, but is getting a total of 3.6m for those 2 seasons. Perhaps Chicago deals something to Seattle for them taking Keith.

I could see him being their MAF. Pittsburgh kicked in a late 2nd to have Vegas take Fleury; maybe Chicago throws in Vegas' 2nd. The choices of players from Chicago aren't exactly stellar either, so this makes some sense.
