Graves huge on the major PK blocking multiple shots. Blues get 1 but it feels like a missed opportunity. Blues down 2 Dmen in this game alone with Faulk and Bortuzzo out.

Addition by subtraction to be honest.

Who knows what NHL does, they don't care about player safety.

Hoping it's not a sign of things to come tomorrow.

This city will lose its mind if the Habs win gm1, and will implode bigger than ever if the Leafs lose the series.
Jets will win this series in 6 and McDavid will score 3 points. Two of them on the PP.
Nobody wants to be more wrong than me, but it's playoffs which means rules are ignored and the team which takes advantage of that the most wins.
I fear the same thing is going to happen in the Leafs-Habs series.
It will cement the belief that you can't win with superstars and a grinding style is the only way to win.

The amount of hits so far is crazy.

Bruins and Caps each had around 60 yesterday

Jets and Oilers anywhere from 50-70

Preds and Canes around 40-50

Meanwhile Blues and Avs only combined for 45 TOTAL?

Did you see that crosscheck from behind that sent a Cane head-first into the boards?
No call.
Clear breakaway in the BOS/WSH game, in OT. No PS or penalty.
It's open season on anyone with or without the puck.

That's the point. Theres so many hits going on because playoff rules are diff.

That's why Leafs got guys like Simmonds, Foligno, Bogosian, Nash. Hopefully they can be the physicality the Leafs badly need in the playoffs.

Losing to Caps and then Bruins back to back, both those teams being as physical as they are .

And now going up against the Habs who ranked 1st in hits this season, that might not go well.
