I hope to hell Matthews doesn't bust, and a few of the lower prospects already in the system, and incoming can be NHL players.

There are some nice young pieces in Rielly, Nylander, Marner, and Matthews, but who knows how it will pan out for any of them save for Rielly—who I think we can say is at least a nice three with the potential be a very good top pairing player.

Yeah, we are still a long long way before competing for a cup. But we should not finish last anymore, we have to make improvements. Slowly but steadily, we have to draft well also beyond 1st round and also develop those guys.

So....Edmonton has to trade the 4th overall pick for a top 4 defenseman, right? Or are they just going to pick Dubois and think everything will be fine again.

Oh and **** this Central division, Winnipeg gets Laine just like that. Jets' system is already stacked as it is.

If they cannot trade him for a top4 Dmen, than they should take one of D and hope they pan out.
