PWHL playoff action starts today.

In the US I'm not sure how much traction it's gotten, but locally here it's been big.

Selling out NHL arenas for select games and in Toronto's case they did so well the team has moved out of their small rink and into an AHL arena.

I've seen some of the players around ahead of the game and you can tell they're pumped up for the playoffs but also for the fact that they're selling out AHL arenas for it too.

Nothing that just HITS, but some decent stuff on there. I like Canyon or Mountaineers but also Mammoth and oddly enough, Squall. Love a good squall.

Mammoth(s), Mountaineers, Yeti(s), Black Diamonds, Blizzard, Swarm are acceptable.

Caribou is okay but is apparently the only member of the North American deer family that's not native to Utah, so that's an odd choice. The lack of Pronghorns, Bighorns, Scorpions, Gila Monsters (if Utah can steal mascots from the Avs, why not the Knights?) is disappointing.

As far as Powder and Canyons go... well, I appreciate 80s drugs and porn references as much as the next guy, but...

Mammoth, Hive/Swarm and Yetis are ones I could see.

Mammoth probably would be the most "normal" from a sports team sense.

But Hive/Swarm would be fitting.

Let's see the Hive/Swarm mascot go face to face with Stinger (Blue Jackets mascot)!

The reason I don't like Hive as a team name is because it's a structure. It's like calling a team the Nests. If Utah chooses Swarm for the team, then the Hive is a logical (nick)name for their arena.
