Maybe that's another route to do in the future too. A Saturday where from 2pm until 10pm ET there's games all day long. Maybe have a different game start every 30 minutes? So one at 2:00, one at 2:30, one at 3, one at 3:30 and so on.

With 16 matchups, that's 16 start times over an 8 hour span. Every game will be starting and finishing at different times, there'll just be nonstop hockey all the time.

And not fully related to this, but they should do what MLB does and everyone plans at the same time on the final day of the season. Given how close hockey standings are, you definitely don't want a final game having teams sitting starters or playing backup goalie or so on because of playoff seedings

I’m not in to college football, so Saturday daytime is free and clear. I’m always disappointed there’s not hockey on. I won’t turn on any teams game for an evening game, but I don’t care what the matchup is for daytime games. I hate how scared of competing with any type of football the NHL is. No one from where the teams in the SEC are are watching hockey anyway! Lol

That's the point, not just for hockey, but in general.

Shows and sports are so scared of "competition", but what percentage of your viewership actually crosses over to what you're competing with.

There's obviously some, but is it really a noticeable amount?

I wanted the Sharks to get Bedard, too bad it didn't happen.

Good old NHL.

Marchand with a dirty move, injures a guy, he's now out until at least December, and that play wasn't even called a penalty and no fine or anything either.

Auston Matthews does what he wants when he wants

The Leafs win when they want to...it just doesn't always line up with when they should.
