Guys, this is ECO 101.
If revenue is shared, then it helps and may offset the cost.

I don't think it would be smart though as Europe couldn't support NFLE and this is going to be that or worse. London has enough NFL games, they won't support nobodies that people aren't fans of the teams. London only supports the NFL because its the only local option to see a NFL game.

That's understood but this isn't the NFL. The odds of any revenue sharing for a start up league are extremely low for it's inception.

The league will own and operate all the teams, revenue sharing is largely irrelevant.

Oliver Luck named commish of the XFL.

He's Andrew Lucks father. Was also an NCAA executive, QB for the Houston Oilers, and president/GM of Houston in the MLS (who won back to back championships).

re: XFL Discussion

Seems like Vince picked a guy with good pedigree to be his commissioner. I actually have a game of ol' Ollie Luck playing with the Oilers.

re: XFL Discussion

I was thinking today about this XFL venture and had a thought; if I'm running the league, I'd take advantage of the NFL's protest nonsense and tell the players they are free to protest, speak out, etc as they see fit. While they may not be able to match the NFL in salaries, they could provide a better work environment and maybe lure some players who are frustrated with the NFL's policies on this stuff to the XFL.

Not gonna happen, if you saw McMahon's conference call he basically towed the Trump Line and said that all players will have to abide by the rules of standing for the anthem etc etc.
