I went into this willing to try you tube as an alternative in the future but the packages with the ticket included a $75 monthly fee for you tube TV.
YouTube Premium is a subscription that gives you ad-free Youtube and access to some other things like YouTube Music w/out ads.

https://www.youtube.com/premium

YouTubeTV is a bundle of live streaming channels, DVR, etc. Basically a streaming cable service.

https://tv.youtube.com

YouTube Primetime is a storefront of subscription services, many of which are available via their family share setup. Think of this like being able to subscribe to Showtime (or hey, Sunday Ticket) without having a core package w/ a traditional service.

Ignore the entire concept or options that include YouTubeTV unless you are also looking to replace your Cable/Sat service.

Basically for Sunday Ticket you're just ordering access to it on YouTube. If you can play YouTube on the devices you are going to use to watch football you're likely good.

Thanks - that's helpful. I'm looking for something that could replace my DTV so that wouldn't work for us.

Re: NFL Sunday Ticket Headed to YouTubeTV beginning with 2023 Season

So, here is a totally massive revelation that I was unaware of until just now:

DirecTV has a Sports Pack which will include NFL RedZone.

This is fantastic, as the Sports Pack is only $13.99/mo and it includes everything else I was selecting to watch with the Choice package instead of the Entertainment package. Doing this not only stops me from needing to spend like $400 or whatever it is for YouTube TV's NFL Sunday Ticket (and I get to record it without concern or hassle), but it got me to explore a channel package that is almost $40 cheaper that has all of these other sports channels that I'd get with the package.

Granted, it doesn't get me the games per se (though I can still watch the Niners locally and obviously get the primetime games) and removing the Choice package for myself gets rid of Giants games, but the offseason is coming up shortly and I can watch the Giants through MLB.TV, and a VPN if needed for live games.

This is kind of perfect for me, especially now that Brady is retired and I'm not recording all Bucs games. If you have DirecTV and you're a RedZone fan, you might want to look into this.

It's actually interesting, because with Sunday Ticket my favorite feature always was RedZone, and previously I basically had to get all of Sunday Ticket just to get RedZone itself with the MAX package, and now that I can get RedZone separately for such a cheap cost, it seems like a perfect storm.

For those specifically looking for RedZone outside of your provider, NFL+ increased in price and has a tier that includes it now for $15.99/mo.

See, I had no idea this was an option either. I always thought it was only with DirecTV and nothing else. I may have been overpaying all these years.

Now with NFL+, can you only watch it live? Can you rewind while it's playing? Can you playback the archive? If you attempt to, are you overcrowded by potential spoilers on pages along the way?

These are the things I'd try and avoid if possible. I coach softball and my Sundays are essentially taken up at tournaments, so I catch up from that evening and through Wednesday.

Of note (if it matters to you), it’s not the same red zone channel as the one with DTV.

You mean like it has Scott Hanson instead of Andrew Siciliano, or it's formatted way differently?
