Depends, for me it absolutely is. It's certainly cheaper, but change is hard.

For people that are new to streaming, it's a harder question to answer, but with no contracts and stuff it's easy to try it for those who want to tinker.

Some of the overlooked obstacles to switching:
- losing existing DVR content
- getting used to having no channel numbers (harder to 'flip through channels' imo)
- Using an app (or apps) to access content you want to watch just takes a lot more effort for some than others

Not so overlooked, is bandwidth and data caps, certainly a factor. We already have good service and far exceed our cap so were already paying for unlimited.

I'm sure there's more, but off the top of my head those are the challenges.

If you know anyone with YouTubeTV the referral offer can save you both a few bucks too.

Does anyone know if the games will be on demand to watch? Or is this only live?

2 stream limit has been lifted for NFLST. Unlimited streams at home.

Just so my old brain gets this..For the 3 months that you have to pay for non football season. If you join now you can save 100 on the sunday ticket? Why not just wait till September and pay the full. It's still cheaper than this deal.

You don’t have to have a subscription, it’s just a one time fee. Either pay $349 today or $449 if you wait until September

For those interested, I have YouTube Premium, but I don't have YouTube TV. Last week, I purchased NFL Sunday Ticket.

Since I have a YouTube Premium Family Account ($22.99/month), everybody who is on my family plan has also been given access to NFLST.

I thought that was interesting and, potentially, useful.

Wait.

I did get it before the deadline for the deal because I'm not interested in going to the bar every Sunday but what is the difference between Premium and you tube TV? (excuse my ignorance)

I went into this willing to try you tube as an alternative in the future but the packages with the ticket included a $75 monthly fee for you tube TV.
