Ralph Kiner Passes Away At 91

Very sad to hear it…great player (only player to lead his league in homers 7 straight years if I recall doing it '46-'52) and a great baseball man. Loved hearing him in the booth for the Mets the last few years just telling baseball stories.

It's possible two teams will wear something in memory of him…he played for the Pirates and has been associated with the Mets forever.

R.I.P. Mr. Kiner, I knew that he was calling games up til last season. I find that pretty amazing. I've seen many games he's done and he was a very solid broadcaster.
