It's come down to the final game of the season. With a win the Cowboys will hold homefield advantage throughout the playoffs as the #1 seed in the NFC. Coach Revolt has decided that this is extremely important for the squad, so any healthy starters will be on the field. The Cowboys and organization have to ultimate goals for this game. To win and come out injury free. The Cowboy faithful have the same hopes.

To add to the drama of it all, the opponent this week is the hated division rival Commanders. The Commanders season has been a disaster but they always play the Cowboys tough and would love to be the reason the #1 seed is not achieved.

After playing the Portland Trailblazers at home twice in three days (both wins) the Mavericks are riding a 6 game win streaks. There are no more questions surrounding the new female coach. She's now just referred to as Coach Revolt without gender coming up. The Mavericks now sit in the 2nd spot in the Western Conference and the team is playing like a well oiled machine. While there are still some questions about the play at Power Forward and getting tougher at Center, the team is definitely looking like it could represent the West in the finals.

Tonight the Mavs take on the Timberwolves. Spirits are high and the players are motivated to keep this win streak going. Let's get out to game and see how this one plays out.

The Stars have won 2 straight and are trending in the right direction. Tonight they take on the Minnesota Wild in a game that takes on importance as the Stars look to continue their struggle to gain ground in the Central division where they currently sit in 6th place while Minnesota sits in 3rd.

The Stars are coming together as a team and GM Revolt is proud of the way that team has been playing on the ice as late. As he learns more about the sport, in the coming weeks he may look into making a trade. He admittedly is still learning the team as a whole and their strengths and weaknesses.

The home team Dallas Mavericks are currently on a 7 game win streak. on Monday they defeated the Grizzlies 109-81 behind a combined 51 points from Luka and Kyrie. Tonight they take on the New York Knicks as this homestand continues. The currently win streak has coincided with the entire team being healthy at the moment.

The Mavericks currently hold the #2 spot in the west and are looking to close in on #1. Let's go out to the game.

After going 1-1 against the Minnesota Wild, tonight the Stars take on the Nashville Predators and try to avoid a 2 game losing streak. Lately the problem for the Stars have been on the defensive side. Coming off a 4-2 lost to the Wild, GM Revolt has been extremely unhappy with the Stars defense and inability to get out of the 7th spot of the Central Division. Revolt has promised that changes are coming if the Stars can't put together a string of positive games.

January 15, 2024

The Mavericks look to beat the Pelicans twice in the span of 3 days after both teams come off an off day on yesterday. Saturday's 125-121 narrow victory and 10th in a row for the Mavericks, saw Kyrie and Luka combind for 58 points. Jaden Hardy also continued is steady play as of late with 17 points in 22 minutes of action.

The big 3 of Willioamson, McCollum and Ingram had a combined 62 points for the Pelicans. The Mavs started the 4th quarter up 17 points and almost gave the game back to the Pelicans being outscored 39-26 in the 4th. A couple of late Free Throws by Kyrie sealed the victory.

Tonight the Pelicans are hoping the momentum from that Saturday 4th quarter continues in tonight's contest and leads them to victory.

Tonight the Stars take on the Kings and this could be just what the doctor ordered. After a heartbreaking 7-6 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks where the defensive woes reared again, the Stars need something positive. If the Stars have any chance of rising in the standings they need to put together a string of wins which is something that that team seems completely unable to achieve at present.

After a 115-99 victory over the Lakers in LA, the Mavericks win streak now stands at 12. Luka carried the team with 38pts, 6rebs, 7asts and 4 stls. No other play had more than 12pts for Dallas. Lebron James and AD chipped in a combined 42 points for the Lakers but that got very little production from the bench players.

With a day of rest, tonight the Mavs take on the Warriors in the bay. These are the top 2 teams in the Western Conference and we are expecting an action packed game. The coaches are ready, the players are ready and we are ready. Let's get out to the game.
