Tonight is that night that Shylah Revolt steps onto that court as the first female Head Coach in the NBA. As if that wasn't enough pressure, the Mavericks need at win in order to get into the knock-out rounds of the In-Season Tournament.

How will the home crowd react to the new coach? How will the players react?

In a completely stunning turn of events, Jerry Jones has decided to on a coaching change. After the excitement surrounding Dallas sports this past week with FC Dallas winning the MLS Cup and the Mavericks making it to the knock-out rounds of the NBA's first ever In-Season Tournament of course Jones needed to find a way to get his team in the headlines.

With the Cowboys currently sitting at 9-2 and in contention for the #1 seed in the conference no one saw this coming. Rumors are that Jones found out the coach was having a secret relationship with his daughter and was not happy, but no one truly knows.

Jones knew he'd have to make a big splash so in steps Phil Revolt. Before you ask yes Phil is a part of the Revolt family. He's the brother of REP Revolt and apparently gained his fame coaching the youth football circuit in which he hasn't lost a game in over 4 years. Some of the biggest names in the NFL have gone through his program. Phil will make his coaching debut tomorrow on Thanksgiving at home vs the 6-5 Seahawks. This Revolt family is definitely slowing taking over sports in Dallas.

Jones' excitement couldn't be contained.

And just like that the Phil Revolt era begins for the Dallas Cowboys. To show support all members of FC Dallas and the Mavericks were in attendance for the game.

While the players were shocked by the coaching change, once the game started they noticed that the change was seamless. Similar playbook and style and encouragement from everywhere.

Dak finished the game with 249 passing yards with 2 touchdowns while also throwing 2 ints. Pollard finished with 154 yards and 3 TDs on 20 carries and Lamb had 6 catches for 101 yds and a TD.

Coach Revolt and the Dallas Mavericks focus on defending home court as they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder and SGA. It has been reported that Luka mentioned that he was feeling better than he has in quite a while and to look out for something special.

Luka propels the Mavericks to their 3rd straight win. The Mavs go on the road to defeat Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns 123-116 in the quarterfinals of the In-Season Tournament. Luka wen down with an injury in the 3rd quarter but returned to lift the Mavericks to the win.

Coach Revolt and the Maverick fanbase are awaiting word on the severity of the injury and if Luka will be available for the next game. With 4 days before their semi-finals match against Fox and the Kings, everyone is optimistic. Luka declared there's nothing keeping him out of this game.

Tonight the Mavericks (14-6) play the Kings (9-10) in the Semi-Finals of the inaugural In-Season tournament in Las Vegas. While the Mavericks are heavily favored, they will not be taking De'Aaron Fox and the Kings lightly.

Luka will be suiting up tonight, as he deals with a Strained left hip suffered in the Quarterfinal game. Luka is currently averaging 27pts, 10rebs and 7 asts per game. For the Kings, Fox is averaging 22pts, 4rebs and 7 asts per game. The Kings have the 6th highest negative point differential and will have the difficult task of slowing down the Mavericks potent offense.

The Mavericks continue their winning ways with a 123-118 victory over the Kings. Luka and Kyrie sealed the victory by making all of their FTs in the final minute. The Mavericks shot 54% from the field and 39% from 3. The Kings finished shooting 49% from the field and 38% from 3.

The game saw a lot of back and forth and with Luka slowed by the hip injury, he was limited on the defensive side of the ball. However on the offensive side, Luka chipped in 35pts while Kyrie added 39pts on 16-24 shooting.

For the Kings, Fox and Monk combined for 45pts while their bench showed up by giving the team 30 pts.

Next up for the Mavericks are the Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers on December 9th.

Highlights below
