Welcome to the first PPV in the Funky Era of Wrestling. This will be a 10 match PPV featuring matches from RAW, SmackDown, and Women’s Wednesday. There will be three Money in The Bank matchups as well. One for RAW (WWE Championship), one for SmackDown (WWE Universal Championship), and one for Women’s Wednesday (WWE Women’s Championship) so it will be a busy night. There are also going to be several championship matchups, including the crowning of the first ever WWE United Kingdom Champion for RAW.

In the MITB Ladder Match to end all ladder matches that last 30 minutes, everyone had their hands on the briefcase at one point. Xia Li was put through a ladder at one point. Sarray was put through the announcer’s table. Carmella suplexed Xia from the top of the ladder to the outside of the ring. Eventually, Carmella pulls down the briefcase.

Money in The Bank
May Year 1, Week 3


Welcome to our first PPV Recap Show. I am your host here to update you on all of the happenings in the WWE.


With Money in The Bank completed, let’s look at the key takeaways from the action and what may come of this action.


The big thing to come from here is that we have 3 new MITB briefcase holders to cash in on their respective championship. The question will be when does that happen.


Women’s Wednesday saw Carmella earn the first MITB briefcase for the WWE Women’s Championship, which was successfully defended by Becky Lynch.
RAW saw LA Knight with an unexpected victory in their MITB match. An underdog and not a top contender for the championship, it will be interesting to see what he does with it. RAW also saw its first crowning of the WWE United Kingdom Championship with Robert Roode being that wrestler. He had unexpected success in the tournament. Brock Lesnar also defended his title belt.


SmackDown saw Ilja Dragunov pull down the MITB briefcase. Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns both successfully defended their titles.


There are still plenty of questions going forward. Who will be the new number 1 contenders? What about the Tag Team Titles as well?


I realized I haven’t focused on the United States and Intercontinental titles thus far, but that is because I needed to establish the new championships and the new show rosters. Both will be focuses going into June Year 1.


On a personal note, I have been playing most of the matches, via a coin flip. I am losing some of the unpredictability that I want. As I get better at the game, I am winning more of my matches than I am losing. I tried to increase the difficulty, but it became no fun as I was always losing. So now, even though initially against it, I have warmed to the thought of running some CPU-CPU matches. I actually did this for the 3 MITB matches and was pleased with the results.


With 5 weeks until the next PPV for RAW and SmackDown and 7 weeks for Women’s Wednesday, the upcoming week of matches will be about setting up for June. The extra gap is because we moved the rest of our PPV events to the last Sunday of each month and added the Women’s Wednesday PPV, Womenz Warz, to the second week in July. We will see how it works.


I think the first few weeks have gone well as I get my feet wet with the game and my universe. I do have a few things to note. I think that Women’s Wednesday needs an infusion of talent, especially in the top tier of the tag team division, to really lock itself in as its own show. I also think I need a few more top card talents on the SmackDown roster. In trying to keep some semblance of semi accurate rosters as I removed some of the wrestlers no longer in the WWE from the rosters, it took away talent from both RAW and SmackDown, even the Women’s Wednesday Show a bit, but it hit SmackDown the hardest, especially in the singles divisions. It is why SmackDown ended up with more NXT talent in my attempt to balance it out. I have plans to address this within the context of my universe as I will likely add a few wrestlers back into the mix.


That being said, we will wrap this update up.

Clearly he is not here to wrestle… But why is he here??? After the applause dies down, he holds the mic up and tells everyone who Pete Dunne’s opponent is. Here is my new client, Xander Z. Music hits and Xander Z walks out.

Xander Z is roughly 6’3” and 285 pounds. He is simply a beast. He has the strength of Lesnar and the cerebral mind of Triple H. He hails from New York City and has the potential to quickly become a fan favorite. This man, beast, animal, or whatever you may call him, will make a big impact from the start here on SmackDown. Even more so with a legend managing him. This is a community creation with a name change and some small tweaks to fit my universe and needs.
