Just started it up this morning and am floored at how quickly it pulls you in. Just got to the surface and already just want to spend the entire day playing this.

[Armor and Sword]

I am starting tonight. I went to the Heat/Lakers game last night and was exhausted when I got home (1.5 stinken hours to get from downtown Miami to my cozy suburb in North Broward county).

I am going with a stealthy old sniper build with high charisma, Agility and Perception. I want to role play this as a lone gun slinger/sniper type who trusts no one and travels mostly alone. I am not going to be one who runs into a mob guns a blazing. I want to become an explosives maven, setting mine and bomb traps and killing with deadly precision from afar.

V.A.T.S. is going to be my friend.

Perks I want for sure are:

Gunslinger
Sneak
Ninja
Mister Sandman
Action Boy
Bloody Mess
Better Criticals
Lone Wanderer
Demolition Expert
Awareness
Locksmith
Night Person
Sniper


This is going to be awesome. I think physically I will design a gray long haired hardened cowboy type. Scruffy, scarred and tanned skin. Basically a Clint Eastwood "Unforgiven" build.

I usually go guns blazing, cowboy build. After checking out the perks and such I'm going for the agility/perception/intelligence route. Just seems like it would be fun to try out something different.

Might want to throw Gun Nut in there as well, good for weapon mods.

Yeah....I mean the game is hard so you have to reload anyways....until I get better at least. I keep like 10 saves to be safe

Anyone use the Pip Boy app? Does it make things easier, or are you just better off doing everything in game anyways? I'd probably have to get one of those controller phone clips and not really sure it's worth it or not
